I have owned this trailer for two years now, and it has more than proven its worth. Although initially expensive ($1600), this trailer is a great value. It is well-built and durable, while also being light and easy to maneuver and store. I just completed a trip from Georgia to Oregon and back with my bike in tow, and was extremely delighted with how well the trailer performed. It's three-part ramp is easy to attach and gives you a lot of flexibility in loading and unloading. When not in use, the ramps attach to the trailer body, and the body itself folds in half, so it takes up very little space. The Chax trailer runs on full-size automotive radial tires, so it tracks true and is capable of highway speeds with no problem. A very good investment in the safety and protection of my bikes.

I was a little skeptical at first about posting my trailer on Cycle Trader. Boy was I surprised when I started getting email notices from people who wanted to know about my trailer for sale. One in particular Avery interested in the trailer and sent me his phone number. I called an spoke to this person and it went uphill from there. Thanks Cycle Treader for assisting me in the selling of my trailer. This is a great place to sell motorcycle items.

Towing the trailer is just like having nothing behind you. Towing the trailer is just like having nothing behind you. Having all the luggage in a trailer takes a good load off of the bike, makes it easier to handle, and finding things you brought on the trip easier also. It is big enough to haul everything we need to take with us and still have room left over. We have had several comments about the trailer and how great it looks. I'm glad I ran into the dealer when I did so I could purchase the coolest looking trailer on the market! We had been shopping casually for over a year and found one we both liked and was affordable.

I like the looks and the size of the classic. It keeps a check on carrying unnecessary items and excessive weight compared to the 25 cublc size. Is the rear light bar standard or optional? If optional, how much extra is the light bar for the 17 cublc? Can it be purchased... read more
