I'm a 25 year experienced off-road rider/racer, now retired. Decided to try Adventure riding with friends. Bought this bike on a suggestion and found I couldn't be happier. This isn't a "beginner" or "woman's" bike as some suggest. Yes, it needs improvement from its stock form, tires, gearing, and ECU, and one can go on from there. But we all put our personalities into our rides and this is no different. I ride alongside T7's, KDX's, and others. Yes, 650's and up can out-power me but none of them out perform this 390 once it's set up. Mine is and if yours isn't, spend the time to do it. You'll find it a keeper. And yes, KTM has filed for bankruptcy but they're not going anywhere. Their reorganization will see to that. You probably won't be able to buy a new bike for a while but parts and supplies, and dealerships will be there for us current KTM owners. The bankruptcy concern is overplayed. If you have a KTM, keep it and ride it. Show less

I have owned many performance motorcycles in the 40 years I’ve been riding motorcycles and the KTM Super Adventure is near the top of the list. Don’t let its dirt bike exterior fool you, this is an all out performance machine. The electronics are awesome to keep you from getting out of line and can make an average rider better. Handling is superb and more like a giant super moto bike than adventure. If I was a little younger comfort would be more stars but 5 star comfort would be a goldwing. Maintenance is not too bad for the DIY’er and pretty simple and quality is exceptional. KTM is a under rated brand that gets overlooked, take one for a spin if you get a chance and see what they have to offer. Show less

This is by far the best bike in terms of corner handling. You can ease into corners at any speed and feel comfortable with the brembo brakes. The torque is top notch as well as the top speed. This has been my favorite motorcycle I’ve ever owned. Show less

This bike here is ready for cross country. If you want to hear about pros and cons you won’t hear nothing about cons strictly pros. This bike is amazing. Very comfortable a lot of power low mileage that also includes three different range modes. This bike is a must see in person Because it is an absolute excellent condition all preventative maintenance has been accomplished on this bike ready for a long travel. Show less

Pros, performance, power and adjustabliity to the riding terrain. Ability to adjust the power and suspension easilly. Cons, like most the seat is not comfy for long blacktop rides. Buffering from wind screen is not desirable when doing hwy. I would say this bike as has been talked about being 75% off and 25% on. So it is nice to ride it to get off road. Show less

This bike is a blast to ride. The engine is nothing but amazing. Also the dynamic electronic suspension makes this bike handle almost like a sport bike. The comfort could be improved. Maybe with the original saddle is a little more comfortable but I have the one piece saddle that makes it easier to ride off road. Still the heated seats and grips are welcome features on the nippy early morning rides. In any case this is a superb bike that is comfortable on dirt trails as well as on tarmac highways. Have I mentioned that the engine and power are absolutely spectacular? The sophistication and electronics of this bike are second to none: - ABS linked to the leaning angle, - Cornering lights that increase the angle synchronized to the leaning - 4 riding modes: Sport, Street, Rain and Off road. - 4 suspension dampening modes: Sport, Street, Comfort and Off road Have I mentioned that the engine will blow you away? Riding: KTM Duke 890 R is an absolute pleasure to ride. The front feels extremely planted and gives you full confidence when you trail break into the corners. The bike is easy to flick around and feels very nimble. The power to weight ratio is perfect for street and track. With the street, sport and track (need tech package for track mode) modes, the bike can be ridden slowly with your cruiser friends or have a fun weekend ride that is a little quick. if you plan to go on a track day, this bike can keep up with faster bikes due to the confidence in the corners. One drawback on the track is the exhaust, it sticks out too much and feels uncomfortable on sweeping right turns. The heel hits the exhaust and puts your foot in an awkward position. I cannot get enough of twisted roads when I am on this bike. Comfort: I have gone on 200 mile rides on weekends and feel extremely comfortable on the bike, As any naked bike, you will feel the wind if you go above 85 mph. However, there are after market products to give you wind protection. Reliability: I had the bike for 2 years and have had no issues. I have always been ahead of the maintenance schedule and clean the chain after every ride. Show less

Selling my once ridden KTM 125xc showing 3.8 hours on the clock. I'm no longer able to ride due to health issues. Never stored with premixed gasoline in the stock tank so the tank is not tinted. Has an FMF spark arrestor-silencer and is also equipped with "FLO" omni folding Levers on the handlebars. Also, has a charging pigtail to the battery for trickle charging. This bike is like new as the pictures show and I have a few spare parts, like the original silencer and stock rear suspension spring. I will assist with shipping on my end if you don't live nearby. But shipping is not included in the price. Show less

Got my 2005 ktm 200exc on a swap from a 2006ktm sxf 250 even trade I’m soooo happy I did!…… I love it, it came with a Clark oversized tank and 2012 front fender and headlight it looks pretty good and rides awesome, tackles everything I give it I feel very confident on it , I’ve had a kdx 220r and this thing walks all over it as far as suspension and power, but comfort the kdx won that battle. Both great woods bikes but I think the ktm is more of a race/enduro than kdx enduro. Show less

For the past 4 years I’ve been a proud owner of my 2007 KTM 250 xcf-w and I must say what an amazing bike! I have ridden many bikes ranging from 2005-2022 and I am a firm believer that this bike sits between a good and excellent bike to own. It punches a huge amount of low end power which absolutely tanks through anything you throw at it. One of my favourite things about this bike is it that you can easily customise it to your preference - with regards to aftermarket parts , plastics, accessories and tuning-making it an outstanding bike to customise to your riding style at a reasonable price. Suspension is super reliable and comfortable , handling is fantastic and the power is amazing. However I do believe there is some room for improvement… the stock kick stand has to be the only worst thing about this bike ( the stand is too short and sits on a very thin metal frame) which compromise’s the chain guard if it breaks. The Radiator as well can be a problem, this year of bike does run hot and the radiator doesn’t essentially help slow down rising engine temperatures, I would recommend if anyone is wanting to purchase this bike sometime soon is to save a bit of money to install a cooling fan onto your radiator- it works like a bomb and prevents any damage to your bike’s engine in the future. Besides that I would consider this bike to be a 9/10 for a junior or senior rider. Hope this helps ! Show less
