Worst vehicle ever made by Honda was the Honda Reflex 250 Scooter! Cooling fan burns out very 3 months. Cost to repair is $400. Honda does not stand behind their product. DO NOT BUY A REFLEX, regardless of how low the miles are. Honda never had a recall for issue. Will never buy any vehicle that...

I had never owned a scooter or rode one in my life, only muscle bikes and crotch rockets. The Reflex has turned out to be one of the best bikes I have ever owned. Bought the bike with 14000 miles on the clock and it had been poorly maintenanced, I remedied that with all the tender love and care that it needed! I now have over 37000 miles on the clock and this thing is still running flawless. I have done some minor modifications to it to help increase durability and smoothness such as a Malosi racing clutch and bell set up for street use, the side "B" variator from the 2005-6 Big Ruckus with 24 gr sliders (get rid of the rollers as soon as you can), the much stronger yellow contra spring which gets rid of the belt vibration at highway speeds. If your Reflex has the rough idle and hard starting when cold like mine did when I first got it, it probly has the carburetor air fuel mixture screw set to run at high altitude. I fixed that, now idles smooth and no hard cold starts. I took it on a over 200 mile trip 2 days ago and got 76 mpg with absolutely no oil consumption and there were a couple of times on the highway I was running 80 mph keeping right up with all the traffic. Dump the factory windscreen, you will never be sorry, get the Givi windscreen made for the Reflex. Storage is awsome on this bike but I also added a back box just to have more. If your bank account is skinny and you need depedable transportation then the Honda NSS250 Reflex 2001-7 will definately do the job!

This bike has the best qualities of all of my previous bikes all rolled into one. The workmanship is second to none.
You will not find another 250cc that is just as comfortable on the highway cruising 55-65mph as it is in town running around at 35-45mph.
What I like the most about it is that there is no need for multiple bikes. As long as you don't need to drive for hours above 70mph this bike is up for it.

I replaced a cheap Chinese scooter with the Reflex, and couldn't be happier. The quality is superb, and I can get parts for this scoot. It has plenty of performance, and despite having only one cylinder, it is smooth with great acceleration. I'll take this used bike over any new Chinese scooter...

I have had an '84 V-30 Magna and a '93 Nighthawk 750, and I loved both of those bikes, but I had to give up riding motorcycles because my feet became paralyzed and I could no longer shift gears or pull the clutch lever in safely. I was blessed to find a 2007 Honda Reflex sold as used with only...

I was blessed to find a 2007 Honda Reflex sold as used with only two miles on the odometer. I love this scooter even more than my past motorcycles. It gets 70 mpg, will do 80 mph and gets attention where ever I go. My helmet stores under the seat. I can barely walk, but when I am on this scooter you would never know it, except for the handicapped tags on the back. This is the best purchase I ever made.

I bought the extra warranty but haven't needed it yet. I have 17,000 miles on it and just do normal service: two new tires, brake pads, transmission belt at 12000 miles. It's quick off the line and goes up to about 73 mph. Put a larger windshield on it. It needed it on the highway. It is a great investment if are looking for one.

Originally we wanted to just get a motorcycle, but my husband working in the ER said that he had seen enough of motorcycle accidents at work and decided a scooter might be safer. So I went ahead looking at scooters. We went to a dealer and saw the Silver Wing. It was a bit too much and a little bigger than what we needed. I really liked the size and price of the new Reflex. Both my husband and I drive it; it's a blast! I drove around as a passenger for the first 150 miles and loved it. I've started driving it by myself lately and it's quite a head turner. People love it. The security guards always ask about it at the gate at work. And the first fill up I spent $8.62 with the most PREMIUM gasoline available. It lasted us 2 1/2 weeks. A lot better prices than my Jeep. I would recommend this scooter to anyone not looking for anything too powerful, too big (as I'm only 5'5), but still looks hot. They are hard to find, being that there's only a few imported from overseas each year, but it comes highly recommended if you can find one! The Reflex will be mine one day, and my husband is looking at getting himself maybe the Silver Wing or another 400-500 scooter.
