I'm writing as a passenger, which is maybe unusual. My husband and I have made several cross country trips from Wisconsin, mostly to Texas and Wyoming. The passenger seat on our 1995 Ultra Classic Electra Glide 30th Anniversary Edition is so comfortable, it's hard to do it justice here. I had back problems and pain in my legs, and on our first trip, I was worried about going on such a long ride on a motorcycle. But when we got to our destination, my aches and pains were gone. Maybe the steady vibration helped, but I couldn't believe the passenger seat was so soft and relaxing. My husband kept remarking how well it handled with two people, and it certainly felt like a smooth and effortless ride. I was only nervous when he took us on the Beartooth Pass going out of Yellowstone. When I peered over the edge of the mountain road (with no guardrails!) and saw the switchbacks a thousand feet below, it made me want to clutch the armrests, close my eyes, and sink into my seat. But we were in our sixties then, young and adventurous. If you're a passenger, I can't imagine a better motorcycle than one like this.

You can pass a semi at 75 mph and you don’t get blown around. Total different feel than my previous Ultra Classic. Best suspension it really absorbs the bumps.

Have owned 7 motorcycles and bought the Gold Wing used for long distance touring. Changed out the suspension to a Traxxion Dynamics that made this motorcycle handle and perform so much better. The Gold Wing is the King of Kings touring ride. While it looks like an aircraft carrier it handles like a sport bike to a very center of gravity. Towed a camper with my Gold Wing 8,000 miles in 5 weeks and it performed flawlessly. If well maintained you can get about 300,000 miles on an engine. Bulletproof bike!

The Ducati Monster is an icon of Italian motorcycling style. The newest incarnation is a stylistic departure from the original, but by using Borgo Panigale’s latest chassis designs, it’s philosophically truer to the original than it’s been for years. With much of the same tech, less weight, a nice dose of go-fast eagerness, and a cheaper price tag than its stablemates, it’s arguably the best value in the Ducati lineup. The new-for-’23 Monster SP ($15,595) ups the ante with a number of performance-oriented changes. To improve handling, the SP gets an Öhlins NIX 30 fork and Öhlins rear shock. It also comes with a steering damper, homologated Termignoni silencer, a lightweight lithium-ion battery, and reworked electronic settings. It also gets top-shelf Brembo Stylema calipers. Just in case passersby were to overlook the gold anodized fork or chunky calipers, the SP announces its presence with a bespoke “SP” livery reminiscent of the world championship-winning factory GP22 racebike.

The ZX9R is a fantastic sports / touring bike that has sharp handling, braking , a great fuel range and fantastic ergonomics; today’s sport bikes are anything but comfortable and are built with a track focus in mind. Another point is insurance is very reasonable because of the sports touring designation from insurers. Like any other motorcycle, maintenance is of upmost importance for safety and reliability. Keep the ZX9R tuned and maintained properly and you will be rewarded with mile after comfortable mile. The only downside is some people don’t like carburetors because they don’t understand them but they are reliable as long as they are maintained properly and filters changed on a regular maintenance schedule.

It has 2 batteries on board and 1 battery back up. Helmet included. I love the ride. Nice and quiet. Easy to maneuver and has a reverse button. Ever time I'm on the road I get looks and a thumbs up. The only thing is I don't like to have to charge it after a 100 mile trip. Batteries are lock and key. I have a puppy cage on the floor and take my puppy for a ride with a helmet. He's a 7 year old Pomeranian and begs me to go for a ride. Not scared because of no loud noise. Fantastic Bike.

What I like about this motorcycle is it's versatility, being able to tackle any type of environment (with the right wheels), from the concrete jungles of the cities to off-road trails. It has just enough power to put a smile at your face with 471cc and it's claimed 48hp, while maintaining a top notch build quality-to-price ratio. It is very well balanced in terms of weight and handleability. What I didn't like so much was it's comfort, with me being in the taller side (5'10") I didn't find the standard ergonomics to be very comfortable and that's why I had to add a handlebar raiser. I would definitely recommend this motorcycle to anyone that's looking for a "Jack of all trades" that can cover every feature with ease and more for the price. This was my first motorcycle as a new rider and I used it for my daily commutes and a couple of short adventures.
