The 2104 Honda CB100 motorcycle is a timeless classic which exhibits all the qualities a motorcycle should have. The ride, the look the feel and the sound are just perfect. No other motorcycle that I have owned makes me feel the way I do when I ride it. I can sit and stare at this motorcycle for all the classic details it contains. This is the 2nd GL1800 I've owned and sadly my last due only to age (for me, not the bike). Easily the best all-around bike I've ever owned, and definitely the king of long-haul comfort. Likes include a level of equipment and capabilities that still lead the pack compared to many later model touring bikes. Comfortable as an armchair and with addition of air wings, equally as quiet and comfortable for the passenger. With heated seats and grips, plus an adjustable hot air redirect to the feet, this is as comfortable as Winter riding gets. Dislikes are few: obviously, the wired intercom and sound system is dated nowadays and spare parts and cables are getting tougher to find. While the bike is very agile, even at low speeds, it still weighs close to 1,000 pounds fully loaded, and you'll feel every bit of that if it tilts over too far at slow speeds. I'm not going to deduct stars for this - heck, it's a 1.8L bike! If I was 10 years younger, and urban riding hadn't become so crazy where I live, I'd never sell - this is the only bike I've ever owned where I have never, not once, felt envy at the sight of another bike, other than the latest model Gold Wing. Out of 19 motorcycles I've owned, the 2005 VTR1000 (also known as the Honda Superhawk 996) is the lightest, thinest, most powerful, best-handling, canyon carver I've ever ridden. I'm 6' 0", 185 lbs. For me, the forward-leaning riding position, with a Corbin seat is extremely comfortable. The stock front forks and a Olin rear shock work perfectly with all road conditions. It soaks up bumps like they are not there. The engine is used as part of the frame which makes the whole chassis very ridged so hard cornering is effortless, and fun. I've never ridden a bike that handles better than this Superhawk 996. The engine has so much torque that you can stay in fourth gear from 40 to 120 mph in the canyons with it red lining about 9,500 RPM. You can easily change the exhaust from low and slightly tilted up to high and exiting next to the license plate like the VTR race bikes. The unique radiator setup, one on each side of the bike, keep the engine temperature between 175 and 220 degrees, and keep the bike very thin and easily maneuverable. The gas tank is thin and small and only holds about 5 gallons so the refill interval is about 100 miles, not good for touring but just fine for short trips blasting through your favorite canyon. This is a great motorcycle. I've had it a couple years. It's like a new bike. The owners manual and tools are still in the sidebar. Even the trailer manual is there. The new tires haven't been broke in yet. Nothing is wrong with the bike. It turns heads everywhere I've been. Show less

I’ve had my 2014 Honda CB1100 for a while now, and it’s been a solid, dependable ride. What drew me to this bike in the first place was its blend of classic styling with just enough modern touches. It’s got that vintage look but doesn’t make you feel like you’re sacrificing performance or reliability. Speaking of reliability, this bike has never left me stranded. I’ve kept up with regular maintenance, replaced the battery, and recently put on new tires, and it’s been running smoothly without any hiccups. The engine crash cage I installed also gives me that extra bit of confidence when I’m out on the road. When it comes to quality, Honda did a good job with the overall build. The bike feels sturdy and well-made. However, I’ll admit the stock seat wasn’t the most comfortable for long rides. After a few trips where I found myself squirming after a couple of hours, I swapped it out for a Corbin seat, which made a world of difference. If you’re planning on doing some serious riding, that’s one upgrade I’d highly recommend. Performance-wise, the CB1100 is just what I was looking for. It’s not a high-speed monster, but it’s got plenty of power for city rides and handles itself well on the highway. It’s a versatile bike that can do a bit of everything, which is exactly what I needed. Great for starters and enthusiasts. Comfort-wise, it’s pretty good overall, especially with the new seat. The upright riding position is comfortable, but again, if you’re doing long-distance rides, you might want to make a few tweaks here and there to suit your needs. Not having cruise control options could make long-distance traveling slightly less enjoyable. All in all, I’d recommend the 2014 Honda CB1100 to anyone looking for a bike that’s reliable, versatile, and easy to maintain. It’s not going to blow you away with raw power, but it’s got that classic charm and solid performance that makes it a joy to ride. Show less

This is a great motorcycle for anyone. It's not too heavy and easy to handle. Plenty of power and runs great. I just needed a bigger MC for long MC trips. I bought this last summer from Lexington and have ridden it 3000 miles . It was just serviced at the local Honda dealership and WV state inspected. No issues whatsoever. Show less

Classic 1985 Honda Rebel 250 cruiser with low mileage and near perfect body. Extremely well-kept bike with same owner for last 25 years and stored in-doors. Fun little street legal, fat tire, trail bike. Great for learners or old timers about town. 125cc will go 55 mph but much better at 35 on a dirt road. Light enough to lift or haul easy. I wish i had this bike in my youth. Fun! Show less

I bought my VTX1300 because, even though I loved rigding my Shadow, I always felt like it could use a little more oomph. The VTX has it. This is 74 hp, a little brother to the VTX1800, with a rumble and a roar. Let her loose on the freeway and watch for the smokies because you'll be having too much fun to read the speedometer. The only think to watch for is the upper pipe. It's wrapped over the transfer case housing, so you can burn yourself at the stoplight if your not careful when you put your foot down. Yes, you can buy a Harley instead. Or you can buy a head turner, and still have money leftover to buy dinner for your date. Because you'll get dates with a bike like this. Show less
