Originally when I bought this bike. It was blown up and neglected. I took it from a dirty old paper weight to what it is now. The bike has been fully restored. Everything you could ever want out of a plated supermoto is right here. Starting with a freshly rebuilt engine that’s 10 thousandths over with a lightened wossner piston, 10:1 compression, rebuilt bottom end and new clutch, followed by a fresh head job, big brake kit, updated and rebuilt suspension, galpher racing brake pads and stainless braided lines, new plastics and graphics and more. I’ve enjoyed this bike a lot but due to financial issues, I have to let it go.

Bought this bike six months ago, in December…not the best riding weather for TX. I’ve ridden 200-300 miles so far. Been taking it slow as this is my first motorcycle to own. Rode my buddy’s XR 500 dirt bike quite a bit in my late teens, so let’s get a street bike! I’m a big guy, 6’5” 340lbs. So I looked for a big bike. My size 17 foot has had some challenges finding a good home on the right peg while not accidentally riding the brake pedal. It came with a hyper charger so the very top of my right calf, just under my knee hits the intake. But once I acclimated myself to the leg/feet ergonomics I must say it is an exhilarating ride. I haven’t yet had the back tire chirp on me but then I’m not exactly popping the clutch either…could be weight related. It does however haul ass when the throttle is twisted! I wish it were a bit more nimble, but again I weigh 340, so what am I going to fit on that I can just flick the back end around for maneuvers. At this point I love this bike.

I bought this bike to race as a motor cross bike to compete with 250s. It needed a top end when I bought it and I thought it was best to replace both the top and bottom. I added a few upgrades to it and this bike is incredible. The powerband hits like nothing else and it is so quick. Pulls the wheel off the ground every gear. If you can find one in this day and age for a good price, get one. It’s worth it. It’s a whole new riding experience.

I wanted the exact bike new, but couldnt afford one at the time. similar but better looks than the Fat Boy, for half the price new. Red paint with flames. the only issue was the electric lift assist pump for the gas(per mechanic) failed on the way home late at night. had to push it a few blocks. other than that, still Love the bike!

YEAAAAH, we are in 2021 and probably I’m so late with the review of the Honda VTX 1800 c , Now we have a lot of options ( Suzuki M109R, Harleys 114 Ci, and many others ) .... But guys, The HONDA VTX 1800 Is still amazing and is probably the best choice you can make.... in 2021 is a cheap bike, and is still one of the most powerful bikes in the market, I got my second vtx 1800 this January (this is model C and the last before was a R model ) and this bike could beat almost any Harley (110 and 114 ci ) and is not fast as a triumph rocket 3 or a Yamaha Vmax, but is still too much power for a cruiser motorcycle..... around 100 hp and a lot of torque, the seat is not too comfortable but you can get some of the many options available to improve that, and that’s it, there is not excuses to not consider the vtx 1800 as a very good option when you want to buy a powerful (very powerful) bike for a reasonable price
