This was my first street bike, i had been riding dirt for about six years. This is an awesome bike. In its day it was the king of supersport undoubtedly. The fact that its such as good bike is that it has the same amount of power as a 2003 R6, and only has five less than the new 600RR. With a full exhaust and a kn filter it would run as quick as the new ones. It weighs 405 lbs dry and about 450 lbs wet. This was light for its day and is still lighter than some model bikes. Anyways great bike, love it, clearly a decendent of the 600RR

This was my first bike. I bought it for only $2,800. It has 18,000 miles on it, it is totally stock except for a Fox racing shock I put on the rear. It handles very well and rides smooth. It needs a little more power in the low end but has a good power band. I have only been riding for about...

This was my first bike. I bought it for only $2,800. It has 18,000 miles on it, it is totally stock except for a Fox racing shock I put on the rear. It handles very well and rides smooth. It needs a little more power in the low end but has a good power band. I have only been riding for about six months now and have put close to 8,000 miles on it. I haven't taken any really long road trips. The longest I have taken was probably about 500 miles round trip, no problems, had to rest once there and again coming back. Seat position is comfortable. I am 6'2" 195 lbs. and the bike has no problems hauling me around. It handles turns like a dream, its light enough to throw around. All in all, it is a wonderful first bike, and I'll have no more payments in another six months. The bike drives itself, I had never driven a motorcycle until I sat on and rode this one, I have never dropped it. I love this bike!

Dug it out of my brother in laws garage, after it had been shelved for 3 years. Did work on front brakes (seized pistons) and fuel system. Has 100+ on clock but can only squeeze 70mph out. Needs tune up. Stay home on windy days, unless you can guarantee tailwinds in both directions. Need more...

Needs tune up. Stay home on windy days, unless you can guarantee tailwinds in both directions. Need more horses. A straight forward bike though.
If you want to give me a decent fixer upper, mail me.
