I have had nothing but good times with this motorcycle. Lightweight, great power for the size, good mileage. Great look, get asked all the time what year it is with people expecting it to be a classic when it is a modern motorcycle. This bike is awesome, cruise control is super convenient, heated grips are helpful in the winter time or during early morning rides before it starts to warm up. Added the saddlebags to add storage for the longer rides. Three years of owning this bike and I love it.

The 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 is perfectly balanced for the re-entry rider as well as the experienced rider. The triumph tiger is geared just right to be responsive on the highway and the right amount of low end torque for the off road situations. The ergonomics are designed for a comfortable long distance and designed to keep you protected from the wind. The Tiger 900 sturdy enough for the highway and nimble enough for the dirt. To me the tiger 900GT is the perfect bike for the rider that doesn't want to be limited by top heavy hard to balance adventure bikes. I always looked forward to riding it.

I've got over 4,000 miles on my Triumph Speedmaster and it is truly an awesome bike. The styling, the power, the handling, the all-day riding comfort, and the customization that's possible make it a stellar cruiser. The detailing on the bike is high quality. Even the welds are tight and nearly invisible. The bike comes with a nice comfort rider's seat, although I changed to a Corbin dual seat because the rear pillion is stiff--and the wife wanted something more cushy. The technology sets this bike apart from what many other cruisers have. It's got a compression front fork, preload rear mono shock with rear suspension linkage to allow for extra movement. Dual front forks with ABS and traction control are standard. Also standard is one-touch Cruise control and two rider modes. There's a digital Tach, gear indicator and loads of other tech readouts on a beautiful instrument clock. The tech is integrated beautifully, so that the bike remains a classic in style and looks, but is modern in handling and power. The twin engine is awesome, with almost 79 ft. pounds of torque and 77 hp. You get 90% of your torque from 3700-5700rpm, so you can really rip on this bike. Many just want to cruise at lower rpm and you can do that on the Speedmaster. But if you're like me, you can make some simple mods that boost power, since the 1200 engine makes almost 100 hp in Thruxton and Speedmaster versions. As for reliability--I've had other Triumphs and they are among the most reliable bikes I've owned. The Speedmaster's maintenance is every 10,000miles, so it's not a costly bike to maintain. The handling is excellent, with the bike being totally solid on the highway, even in windy conditions. At 580 pounds, it's not too heavy or too light. The bike carries its weight low, so it's easy to move around the garage and to park, and not cumbersome to drive at slow speeds like much heavier bikes. I like the forward pegs, but there's a kit for moving the pegs and controls to the mid position for those who prefer that. Lastly, the pipes sound great, even stock. This is a modern classic bike that will probably be a classic in another 20 or 30 years.

Having spent 25 years on liter bikes sport touring I developed an interest in ghost towns in the western US. This required a different type bike as gravel roads and sport bikes don’t mix. I test rode several of the popular big bore dual sport bikes, BMW, VStom etc. while they all had their advantages, to me they felt top heavy and awkward in slow going. I took a test ride on a Tiger 800 and loved it! It felt light nimble and for an 800 had some real punch!. Having since put nearly 40,000 miles on my 2014 tiger800 both gravel roads and canyon carving I can honestly say this bike has been a delight. The stock suspension was a little soft for me and I had custom seats made as my wife felt the rear seat was too hard and set too low. For long distance riding cruise control would’ve been nice but certainly not a deal killer. Don’t listen to the twin cylinder guys who tell you the Tiger 800 does not have enough mid range torque for single trailing, just keep it in its torque curve and you can keep up with the best of them. This bike is very happy between 5000 and 8000 RPM. To date it has been Stone reliable. I have no complaints and would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a great smaller displacement bike with plenty of power.

One of the best Sport tourer in the market . Very agile very positive feed back from chassy without the bags and amazing gas mileage with lots of option and comfort you can ride this bike for ours without getting tired . The negative side for me is the weight of the side bags they are very heavy and extremely hard to move them around specially if you have your stuff in it overall for the guy who had Kawasaki Concours and fjr ill take Trophy all day long not as fast as kawasaki but better handling without the bags for sure and much smoother than fjr if you are in the market for tourer dont miss Triumph Trophy give it a try
