This motorcycle has been a joy to own. Originally purchased from a family friend who bought it new and after deployment overseas decided when she returned not to ride anymore. I made extensive upgrades to it for light touring around Arizona. I had some wonderful rides on weekends when I was working and for a while before and after Covid when I retired.
I really want to ride more but I am turning 73 soon and I am concerned that my motor skills just aren't where they should be for safe riding. This bike still has many miles of wonderful riding experiences left in her. Anyone looking for a comfortable easy riding light touring bike for weekend trips will not be disappointed.

Wiseco, Mikuni,Screamin' Eagle , SuperTrapp , Twin-tec , and more . Very agressive performer, always garaged and never ridden in wet weather . Must be seen to appreciate the beauty and functionality oif the long list of upgrades . Approx . 13,349 original miles now . Purchased from Harley Dealer formely owned by dealer head tech . A potential purchase you can feel good about all the way home ! As I pile on the years (on ME !) Its time to begin liquidating my toys . This is one of two pristine machines being offered for sale .

I've never owned a Harley before this one. I've always heard negative things about how Harley's are difficult to maintain and constantly break down... however, this is NOT my experience with this Sportster.
TBH... this was an impulse buy from a neighbor; however, it turned into a fun adventure! I hadn't ridden a motorcycle for close to a decade and it was a great return to the excitement of "flying" without wings. Prior to this bike I had a couple of Yamaha cruisers, a Victory, and had driven every type of bike possible. I've held a motorcycle endorsement on my license since 1998.
If you're interested in a Harley, Sportsters (883 or 1200) are a good initiation into the HOG. Well-balanced, plenty of power to move anyone (I'm 6'4" and 240 pounds) and fun to ride.

This is an older HD, so obviously not quite as comfy as the newer models; however, it has held my wife and me in good stead through long trips from SoCal up to Wyoming and Victoria, B.C., among others. With the upgraded Performance Package installed in 2012, the overall power increased by about 15%, and that was a worthwhile addition. I just turned 70, and my joints are starting to fail on me, so physically it was time for me to admit that Father Time has gotten the best of me, at least when it comes to riding a bike. But I've loved my HD from the day I purchased it, and although over the sixteen years that I've owned it, it's got a few bumps and nicks, it's still a solid bike, and if I was ten years younger, I wouldn't consider parting with it. Heels up, and keep it between the ditchs!! :)

The Harley-Davidson Nightster is a distinctive member of the Sportster family, known for its rugged, minimalist design that pays homage to the brand's heritage while embodying a modern edge. It typically features a dark, aggressive styling that sets it apart from other Sportster models.
Design:
The Nightster's design is characterized by its stripped-down aesthetic and blacked-out components. It often includes a chopped rear fender, solo seat, and low-slung profile, giving it a classic bobber-inspired look. The overall silhouette is muscular and compact, emphasizing a no-nonsense approach to riding.
Engine and Performance:
Powered by Harley-Davidson's renowned air-cooled Evolution V-twin engine, the Nightster delivers a blend of torque and responsive power suitable for urban cruising and open road adventures alike. The engine's distinctive rumble adds to the bike's charisma, contributing to the visceral experience of riding a Harley-Davidson.
Riding Experience:
The Nightster is designed to offer a raw, elemental riding experience. Its low seat height and agile handling make it suitable for maneuvering through city streets with ease, while its torquey engine ensures a thrilling ride on highways and winding roads.
