The Road King FLHR is build using the same frame as it's more expensive brothers (Street and Road Glides) but without the expensive electronic bells and whistles . It is lighter but just as comfortable for long days in the saddle. I chose this bike because it has a more traditional look than the more expensive baggers. It has the best of the former Big Twin motors. All the flaws were corrected by the 2016 version. The paint finish is the eye-catching vibrant Velocity Red with pin stripping. Road Kings are the jewel in the crown for the Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who appreciate the look and feel of of the past. It can easily be converted to match the other baggers with the addition of a detachable tour pack. Perfect for the rider that enjoys the music of their exhaust versus music via Bluetooth devices. Add a handlebar phone mount if music is a must.

I’ve owned multiple Harley’s over the years and this has been my favorite by FAR. This bike is a torque MONSTER! The Dyna is a smaller framed Harley and with this particular motor the front end WILL come off the ground if you gas it hard. I’m 6’-2” and roughly 225 pounds and sit comfortably on this bike. Over long distances it’s clearly not the best for my build but for just riding all day with the “group” it was perfect. I love this bike but I never get the chance to ride anymore living out of state for work. I ride when I’m home, but not nearly enough. It breaks my heart seeing it sit so I’ve chosen to part ways with my black beauty.

I really enjoyed owning my Road King. Comfort is top tier, for rider and passenger, with wind buffeting hardly noticeable with the fork fangs. The Ohlin shocks made the ride smooth, eating up bumps. The aftermarket Vance and Hines pipes aren't too loud but make for a nice rumble. I added a Ciro phone holder wireless charger and a big cup holder for those long trips. Gas mileage is excellent. The Tour Pak has a rack on top for extra storeage. 2up seat is comfortable, so my wife says. Bike cover is included! Brand new battery. Battery tender is included. Just changed the oil and filter at 25000 mi. There is a reason cops ride these bikes in motorcycle rodeos: they corner like a rabbit!

John, the salesman, was impeccable. He was very honest and transparent about this bike but what stands out the most was his polite demeanor, which i have found to be uncommon in the HD dealerships. 10/10 would buy the RIGHT bike from him but this WAS NOT IT. This bike had scratches allllllll over the tank, gouges in the headlight fairing, rust, a gouge on the exhaust and several other cosmetic issues. He told me it had come from a training class and it was the last one of five that they had received. I did not test drive it because I was so cranky about the cosmetic issues. I should have known it was too good to be true for that price. The only redeeming factor was John being so personable. He gets 5 stars from me but the bike was a mess.

This bike has been from VA to SD, MT, CO, FL, OK and most states in between. Long Hauls are easy with this touring bike. This bike runs Flawlessly. Engine and exhaust are factory. The only mods I have done are Blacked out a lot of the chrome parts like engine covers, forks, handle bars, grips etc. I also have a few black parts that have not been installed if buyer want them. All lights have been replaced with LED lights.
