I've had many different bikes of various makes. All have been either parallel twins or v twins. I like the power band that these engines produce. My America is my go to bike because of its midsized ease, while being fully capable of serious long haul use. It fits like a glove and does what I want it to without complaint. It has plenty of power, great looks and always is an attention getter! My Trumpet has earned my pride of ownership and it will be well cared for. It is well built, strong and able. I should be a stockholder in the company because I always sing its praises to everyone who ask me about it when I'm out riding. I am a lucky and proud owner of this UK masterpiece classic!!!

Returning rider upgrade from a 79 Honda CB650. This is much more than I expected. Good slow speed handling once you get the feel of a cruiser over a standard. Rock solid on the highway at 90mph. Wet roads make me nervous. Moderate rain at 75mph with no worries. Less wind at 80 than my Honda at...

Wet roads make me nervous. Moderate rain at 75mph with no worries. Less wind at 80 than my Honda at 65. 60 mpg at 75 mph. 50mpg at 85-90 with 10% ethanol. Yep it gets attention vs the same old V somethings. Mind your turn signals because you will never see your idiot lights to remind you.

This is my second Triumph America they just plain run. They have a huge fun factor and are so reliable. It gets great gas mileage. I can't wait to get out and ride. It gets looks everywhere I go. The bike is completely stock and runs perfectly. I am 46 years old and enjoy all-day riding on this...

I just bought my Speedmaster a couple months ago. This is a great motorcycle, I've never even seen one similar while out riding yet. that's why I wanted it in the first place; it is a beautiful looking, unique bike (mine's Yellow + Black), it has plenty of power when you want it (a little more wouldn't hurt though and is readily available with aftermarket parts, pipes, jets, plugs, airbox removal, ignition, etc.), it is put together very well, and most importantly, it's not a H.D. like everybody else has. The bike is very smooth in the corners and during all around riding. Vibrations are almost non-existent compared to a H.D. I love this bike and wouldn't trade it for any other. Even if someone gave me a Sportster 883 or 1200, I'd sell it and get another Triumph Speedmaster. Period.

Now that the weather is nice I try to take her out on Saturdays or Sundays (weather permitting). I'm new to riding so I've been riding it very causiously. Have to say the bike handles amazingly, even to a new rider like myself. Have been riding it up North (Putnum county) on the back roads. Love the way it handles. I do have to say when it needs power it has the power to deliver. Very satified. Great 1st bike :)

I bought it in May of 2004 and would ride it all the time if it would quit snowing in Iowa. Comfortable, fast for a cruiser, handles better than any other cruiser I've ridden. A joy to ride and most deffinately not meant to look like anything else. The only problem is that half the places I go I...

After owning several British Bikes in the 60's and 70's I had a great love for them when they were right. However these machines usually required a lot of repair and vibrated with a vengeance. My last British Bike was a 1975 Triumph Trident and it drove me crazy keeping it running. I said NEVER will I buy another British Bike and fell under the power of Far East reliability. These bikes however lacked the style and handing of the British products and I found myself trading often to try to recapture the feel the Triumphs had to no avail. I fell in love with the new T100 and can say from experience they got this one right. I love this bike and wouldn't hesitate to buy British now.

Had the bike for just over two years now and have gone on several long rides (through Arizona, Nevada and southern Utah). The only real complaint I have is the bike has an oil leak that the dealer/tech, for whatever reason, can't seem to get a handle on. Nothing major, just a few drops on the garage floor after every ride (irritating). Changed the pipes, re-jet, windscreen, floorboards, and stepped up to the 18 tooth sprocket (makes a huge difference for the long rides at highway speeds). Overall, a great bike, dependable, handles well and people continually approach and say how impressed they are with the looks. I am, however, selling the bike for the BMW R1200GS. As much as I love the Triumph, it won't be able to handle a trip around the world (leaving in two months).
