I have the 07 S model. It looks great, rides great and has phenomenal power. The torque is truly incredible. Going on long hauls up long mountain roads is a breeze. I routinely pass other crusers/tourers sucking for air. The Strat is simply the Lexus of all rides. I love it! I would like to... read more

Other than that, it is truly perfect...

After several Yamahas and Hondas this is the ultimate cruiser. Very smooth, handles very easily. Fast, stable and throaty. Corners surprisingly well for such a big bike. Only issues are the relatively small bags and the slight glare at night from the instrument panel. Almost perfect, and the most fun I have had on a motorcycle (after 40 years of riding).

HELLO RIDERS: I PUT OVER 33000 MILES ON A 2004 VULCAN 2000 I BOUGHT NEW THREE YEARS BEFORE GETTING MY ROADLINER. WHEN THE WEATHER LETS ME, I RIDE EVERY CHANCE I GET. IN MINNESOTA, IT GOES QUICK; SUMMER. I GOT THE ROADLINER WITH HESITATION AFTER RIDING MY GOOD FRIENDS HE PURCHASED. SEEMS HE WENT FOR A TEST DRIVE AT STURGIS AND LOVED THE ROADLINER SO MUCH HE HAD TO SELL HIS WORN OUT HARLEY TO GET ONE. ANYWAY, LONG STORY SHORT THE VULCAN 2000 WAS A GRAND BIKE BUT NOT JUST AS REFINED AS THE ROADLINER. THE ROADLINER IS BY FAR THE MOST CADILLAC OR LEXUS LIKE OF THE BIG INCH STROKERS. SURE THE STOCK SEAT SUCKS BUT WHO CARES? FOR THE COST YOU SAVE BUYING A ROADLINER OVER A HARLEY YOU CAN BUY 10 GRAND WORTH OF EXTRAS. YOU won't NEED TO BECAUSE THIS BIKE IS THE REAL DEAL. POWER, STYLE, REFINEMENT, ATTITUDE, AND YAMAHA QUALITY. AT LEAST TAKE ONE FOR A LONG TEST DRIVE IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW BIG INCH CRUISER. I DO NOT THINK YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. WHEN NOT GOING TO MUCH OVER THE SPEED LIMITS I GET CLOSE TO 50 MPG. SOLID BIKE AND REALLY CAN RIP WHEN YOU GOOSE THE THROTTLE. HAVE FUN RIDING - BE SAFE - ALL THAT BORING LINGO.

Was told many times it is nice to see a bike that is unique, not a Harley cookie cutter version of a cycle. Tried to ride for MPG the other day and was able to get 45 on two separate rides of 100 miles +. Keeping it under 60 is tough though. The Strat loves to run.

The low center of gravity coupled with the overall wheelbase allows one to float around those sweeping curves. don't let the comfort fool you, a simple twist of the wrist will quickly let you know that this bike will run with any bike on the road, regardless of make. My wife and I have logged many mile on trips with friends and even my wife is amazed at the number of compliment and/or acknowedgments we receive form Harley owners. Enough said.

I've ridden many bikes over the years and have never been so completely satisfied with a cruiser like I am with this one. This machine is not for the faint of heart! It combines great looks with guts. I've been on a couple of rides which were mostly dominated by HD's and I have received nothing but very positive feedback from the other riders - especially when I leave the line or pass them on the road. I will never ditch this bike, but will continue to customize and ride it.

I picked up this Midnight Strat on Tuesday, Jun 26. I have since put 570 miles on it and have loved every minute of riding. I studied, researched, and talked with everybody about motorcycles. Especially, those that owned a model I was interested in. I did this for over 2 years, I hadn't especially thought I was going with a Strat due to I had other models in mind. I have sat on all the ones I liked and this one just felt right. I am happy with what I got and would recommend the bike to anyone. Just make sure you get the bike that sings to you, there are lots of them out there. Do your research, talk, and sit on a lot of bikes.
