I took the plunge today and bought non-s Roadliner. Felt like a scab crossing the union picket line. I have ridden 11 Harleys, BMWs-r- bikes, Moto Guzzis, and assorted metrics. It was difficult to do. I am a military man and as a rule am very loyal to H-D brand. It all started when I took a...

It all started when I took a Roadliner for a ride at Sturgis. To me, the bike oozes class. Fit to finish is second to none. The 113 cubic inches is remarkable. The transmission shifting isn't as precise as one would think. However, has 100+ miles on it. Roadliner is very detail oriented. Hopefully, it will last longer then payment book.

It has been several years since I rode a motorcycle. I shopped Honda, Harley and BMW and fell in love with the style and looks of the Roadliner. I was a bit intimidated by the size of the bike - 700+ pounds, but after 3 months of ownership and 1000 miles, the bike feels very natural and in fact, not big at all. We had 4 Honda bikes when I was in HS growing up, so it is difficult for me to compare this bike with others. One thing I found shopping for a bike was the inability to test ride them - but I feel extremely lucky - the Roadliner is a great bike. It rides great at slow speeds as well as high speeds. With passangers - you notice the extra weight when they move, but the engine, acceleration and the ride is nearly identical. I love the sound, the look and the rumble of the engine. I did have to replace the seats - they were not very comfortable - I purchased a set of Mustang seats and have been very satisfied. This would be my only complaint. Gas mileage is not as good as I had hoped for. I think it may be the city driving and limited highway miles. I have only been on one long trip of 100 miles or more - so this may be my problem.

Just buy it, you will never regret it.

I just purchased my Roadliner after a couple of years thinking what cruiser to get. I'm not into Harley's as they are just too over done and their name doesn't really mean anything to me. My 1999 GL1500 is much more comfortable than any Harley and faster than all their big bikes. I wanted...

My 1999 GL1500 is much more comfortable than any Harley and faster than all their big bikes. I wanted something without the HD label and found it with the Yamaha Roadliner. It's a great ride and I have some plans to add to it as time and money allows. Sounds great, very fast, handles great, excellent brakes and one heck of a ride.

I love this motorcycle. I can't understand why there aren't more on the road. The handling is near perfect, and the style is right on for me too. I like things a little different and this bike stands alone in looks. It's very comfortable for a man my size (6'200#). No problems so far and I have the...

I just bought a Roadliner S. This has got to be the perfect cruiser. Styling, performance and ride are excellent. I had it at a local park where people hike and a couple of guys stopped to take pictures. They guessed I paid much more than I actually did for it. The sound is not obnoxious -...

I had it at a local park where people hike and a couple of guys stopped to take pictures. They guessed I paid much more than I actually did for it. The sound is not obnoxious - just low and powerful. With the 113 cubic inch engine, I'm starting to think of Harley's 88 cubes as mid-sized. Even the $30,000 screaming eagle fat boy only has a 103. What a ride!!!

With the money you save on the price versus a Harley you can buy a load of accessories. Everyone mentions Harleys because of the way they sound. Guess what? You can by pipes now for just about any bike out there and you will get the same if not better sound. Owned several Harleys. All with problems. After 35yrs of riding nothing but Harleys, even when they were about to go belly up, I decided to go Metric. Can't believe the ridiculous prices on Harleys, they seem pretty stripped down compared to the Metrics with dependable performance. Wannabees get Harleys, like rich doctors or lawyers who think they are a tough guy because they have a Harley. All the Hells Angels I know are going metric. You can't tell because they have customized them. No labels.

I have never ridden anything that even comes close to the performance and handling of this machine. The only complaint I had was with the seat which I replaced with a Corbin seat this made the bike a perfect 10+. If you want to ride the best Cruiser currently manufactured this is it.

Unbelievable is the first thing that comes to mind. I'm a woods rider but wanted to get into touring the Great Northwest and started looking at bikes. Test rode just about everything from 900cc and up, there's truly nothing on the market that compares to the Roadliner. And, add the right...
