Actually, the year is not over and Winter riding is never out of the question. My wife looks forward to the next ride at every opportunity. I like riding for two reasons: the preparation and the journey to and from. Just finished replacing brake pads, fluids, air filters, oil filter, spark plugs, and greasing moving parts on 36,000 miles. I did this before and get the same results. It's just like riding a new, broken-in bike. Since my 20,000 mile review I've installed front fender trim and little chrome doo-dads. Been to Missouri and all in between, and San Antonio, Texas this year. At this point I have half of the 5-year warranty left. Only warranty claim was for a faulty fuel pump. Hopefully that is all that is faulty until the year 2020. Next year I'll put some Baron pipes and see if the sound is to my liking. By then, at the rate of local legislation, I'm hoping my pipes will be legal.

Roadliner Midnight is all around a better bike for those who want to ride, then ride some more. (sorry HD, just my opinion) Service and staff has been great. My time is spent on the road with cofidence that the bike will not let me down. 113ci and 1854 cc is all you need for long trips.

I purchased this bike used because once I saw it I had to have it. The bike is amazing. I get looked at all the time and people will stop on the side of me and ask what kind of machine I am on. The performance is awesome! The driver has a nice stretch feeling that is relaxing. You can be doing...

The performance is awesome! The driver has a nice stretch feeling that is relaxing. You can be doing 70mph and pull on the throttle and feel the power between your legs! I will own my Yamaha Midnight Warrior for a very long time! Of course I will purchase another Warrior in the future also.

I bought my Warrior used 2 1/2 years ago with 6500 miles on it. It is now at 22,500.
Simply put, this is one sweet ride. I've used it both for commuting from SD to Rancho Bernardo, and for a couple of long hauls - most notably, up PCH to Ft. Bragg, about 3 hours north of San Francisco.

If you can still get your hands on a good one used, grab it; you won't be disappointed.

The salesman at the shop said it was very fast BUT not good for long distance riding. Haha! Well I have proved him wrong after riding from Orlando, Florida to Sturgis, South Dakota (I also rode through the Rocky Mountains on the way). The bottom line is this bike will do it all when properly accessorized.

With the odometer at 5400 miles now, I feel it is broken in. The motor hasn't missed a beat yet and the exhaust seems a little throatier now. The bike (other than a horrible stock seat) has been wonderful out of the box. I'm getting 42 - 44 mpg at 60 mph and about 38 - 40 mpg at 70 mph. The bike...

The bike runs reasonably cool even in the heat down here. Handling and balance are nothing short of superb. I'll be keeping this one for quite a while.

This bike has it all. Comfort (once you swap the stock seat for a Mustang), power, speed, handling, style and fit and finish are top notch.

I fell in love with the Road/Stratoliner bikes when I first saw them, and bought my Strato Midnight in its introductory year. I now have over 14,000 miles on it and have no intention of stopping. The bike produces more horsepower and more torque in its STOCK setup than a Screaming Eagle Harley for less than half the price. Plus, the fit and finish of the Strato is impeccable. The bike's design is well thought out and refined. It is classy and retro without looking old and tired. There is no other bike on the market that can compare. Period. All you have to do is take one test ride and you will buy one.
The only drawbacks to this bike line is the limited aftermarket parts for it and the stock seat (on the '06 models anyway). The seat is okay for short rides (1-3 hours), but any longer than three hours in the saddle will make you wish for more cushion. A simple fix to the seat problem is a quality aftermarket seat (I highly recommend the Mustang). No need to add highway bars if you are close to my size because the floorboards offer plenty of space to stretch out on.

This is my second bike and I love everything about it. Everyone who looks at the bike is amazed by it. They like the flames on it and the cannon for the muffler. Then when I tell them the size of the engine their jaws drop. It's a really smooth ride and plenty of power whenever I need it. I...
