I've had more than just a few bikes over the years. But this is by far the nicest bike I've had the pleasure of owning. I've ridden most all of them at one time or another. But I'll never own anything else but a Victory from now on. The ride is smooth, acceleration is snappy and the handling is solid. As for styling and detail, very clean! Looks like a million, but costs peanuts by comparison. Everywhere I go people stop and ask about it. Most think it's a custom built, costing into the $30k to $40ks or more! I'll just smile and say it didn't quite cost that much. Thanks Victory for making a great bike.

All it took was one test ride and I wanted one. I was riding a Honda; now it's a 2008 Vegas. It has true power that must be respected, but I find it hard not to use it for evil. It is too much fun and the best ride I have ever had! Definitely a Must... read more

I looked for a year before I bought this bike. I looked at every major bike sold in the USA. The Vegas is the best handling and best looking bike I know of. It is my daily driver and our long distance hauler. No problems ever. It's a great ride two up, too. I went to Smokey Mountains and rode the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Even two up and loaded for a week's ride we still got over 53 miles to the gallon with the tank, but mostly in the high 40s. This is one Great Bike!

I never owned a bike before but I always wanted one. So I looked at the Harley's for about three months and simply couldn't find the right bike for the right price. I've always felt much love for that piece of Americana which are the Harleys and their tradition, but they all required a bit too much dough for upgrades and I simply couldn't afford the brand. A good friend that owns a Harley Street-Bob, suggested the Victory Vegas once he knew I was looking to buy a bigger size bike, and I'm glad I listened to him. At one point I had my heart set on a Nightster, which had great looks and all but I felt it was better suited for my little sister. To be honest for one or two weeks, I felt less brand but more bike and quality would be the reasons to purchase a new big toy. I looked at the Japanese bikes, and almost decided for a Yamaha Star, over a Suzuki Boulevard, and then decided to try out this '08 Victory Vegas 8 Ball...I was sold!! What a totally awesome deal and great quality for a well made American bike. I didn't know much about the brand until walking in to their dealership almost by chance. Three months have passed since I bought it and I've been riding my 8 Ball mostly on weekends. I can't deny it, this bike has the looks, the mean stare while it's parked, and it has more than enough power for a beginner rider but the handling is swift and nimble for a big bike. I'm writing this review because reading through other postings and reviews made it easier for me to decide when I was trying to find what type of bike I really wanted. At the end, I felt I had an educated buy, rather than one by impulse only. I'm stoked with my Victory Vegas 8 ball and recommend it to anyone looking for a cruiser, and the only color you require is all black, this is the bike for you!

I was deciding to get either a Harley Davidson Rocker OR Victory Vegas. I gave the Rocker a complete look over and almost bought it, in fact the salesman started to write up the papers. I decided to check the Victory shop down the road and I seen the Vegas. I test rode both and I instantly fell in love with the Vegas. I also tried the Vegas Low, and I liked how comfortable it was. I would have given 5 stars, but the seat starts to be bothersome after a long ride. The reach and pegs are VERY COMFORTABLE! The Vegas felt good too, but the Low was better. It has PLENTY of power and NO VIBRATION! I get compliments where ever I go, believe me. All we have here is Harleys and people would rather check out my Vic. I get about 42-45 miles to the gallon and it holds 4.5 gallons. I can go about 200 miles and the low fuel light comes on. I love the rumble of the motor, sounds like a muscle car. I would highly recommend the Vegas Low. A co-worker has already sold his Harley and is getting a Vegas Low.

This makes for a great canvas for customization which I have done with some help from a shop who does custom paintwork. The bike was a smash hit at the local bike fest in September attended by nearly 6000 people. This bike is without a doubt the best cruiser I have ever owned!

I'm what you would call a bit of a chance taker (motocross rider). When I was looking for my first street bike in over 14 yr, I wanted to stay away from the Harley heads. I will admit I had looked at and rode a Night Train and was thinking about it but when a buddy (who owns a Rocker) asked if I had heard about the Vegas, I became interested. I didn't call anyone who owned one, I didn't look up reviews and I didn't talk to a sales person; you just have to ride this bike. The ride was smooth, it handles like a dream, the look was cool (a lot of lines) and the power was there, man was it there!!! Besides the power to cost ratio the bike looks great for the money you pay compared to that of Harleys and with all the accessories out there you can make a one of a kind. I love this bike and would recommend it to any first timer, second bike owner or a good OLD boy getting better.
