It's been a great ride, with style. Everyone comments on the ride, even those Harley riders. Just regular maintenance costs so I get to spend more money on customs looks and accessories. Hard to find after market accessories so I have to make what I want or spend on costly OEM parts. Hey, I'm just a lowly working stiff so, I would like to find more parts I can afford.

I hadn't owned a street bike in almost 30 years. Got the kids raised and thought it was time to get another one. I looked at all kinds of cruisers and wasn't really impressed with any of them except the Victory line up. I liked the looks of all the Victorys and decided to go with a Kingpin. Since there isn't a dealer close to where I live, I looked on the internet to see what I could find, and found my 2008 Kingpin premium. I went out of state to get it, but it sure was worth the trip! I've ridden it over 5000 trouble free miles since Feb. of this year when I bought it. Only thing I've done is changed oil at the recommended intervals and checked the tires air pressures. Took it to a dealer at around 2500 miles to be serviced and everything checked out fine. I ride with a lot of different brands of bikes including Harleys and everytime we stop, seems like the Kingpin always draws first attention! Went to a flea market about 60 miles from home and came back outside to the bike parking area and a crowd of 20 or more were checking out my Kingpin. Got a lot of compliments and was asked a lot of questions. I only wish there was a dealer here in Eastern Ky. so I wouldn't have to go so far to get oil and filters. Other than that, I'm tickled to death with my Kingpin and wouldn't trade it for anything!!!

If I pull up to a gas station with several Harley Davidson's people ask me about my Victory. There is always more interest in my Victory. I have had Harley Davidson riders that have told me that the Victory is a far better bike then their Harley. I love this bike, I don't expect to trade it, it is like an old friend. I will just buy another Victory, maybe a Hammer or a Jackpot.

I thought the Vision was an outstanding bike but that it was too big for me. One night I hit a curb; my wife and I were thrown off (at a very slow speed) and the Vision remained upright with not a scratch!!! My new Kingpin is the best motorcycle I've ever owned. It honestly gets very close to 50 miles per gallon using a throttle lock, has a great ride, great sound, and is very comfortable. I think it's unreal that more Harley owners aren't looking at Victorys. I honestly believe the Victory is vastly superior in handling, looks, price, upkeep, warranty (think five years vs. one year), engineering (the old Harley push rod is antiquated technology), electronics, and storage.

It is very comfortable and has a lot of power. I previously owned a 01 Sportster and an 06 Street Glide. I was amazed at how often people ask me about the Victory's. It is one thing to own a HD but even better to own something that turns heads. It also a lot of fun to go flying by the HD's. I would recommend this to anyone that likes riding and doesn't want to turn wrenches. Just turn key and ride!!

After an hour on it I felt like I had been on it for years. Have been to both coasts of the U. S. and Canada and into South Dakota and the Blue ridge Mountians averaging 500 to 600 miles per day for a week or two per trip. Comfortable and as reliable as it gets. Turns a lot of heads and sparks many a conversation.
