I had kind of lost the passion for riding and was actually considering letting the sport go when I got a really good deal on my '03 sptrip I figured I could ride it for awhile then flip it and make a few bucks. After riding for only a few short weeks, I may never give this bike up! It is unbelievable! The handling, power, overall coolness. I got mine in silver it is so sleek & sophisticated. It reminds me of a middle-ager in really good shape that could kick some serious butt. It is refined and experienced yet can give the younger guys something to worry about. I got on my older Suzuki and it's like comparing a dump truck to a Porsche. I can't say enough about this bike. Luv it, luv it, luv it!!!

I have had my Speed3 since Jan '04. Since then I have put on the fly screen with the Laminar windshield (Highly recommended and looks way cool) which turns it into a long distance road burner. I have added the carbon fibre high pipe (sounds like a pissed off Porsche) I have also put on the rear hugger, fender eliminator and rear seat cowl. The bike has been an absolute blast. I cannot keep the stupid grin off my face while riding it so I got a dark tinted shield. I looked at the Ducati Monster, Suzuki SV, Kawasaki Z1000 and could not shake the urge to get the Triple. (My older brother bought a Triumph Tiger when I was a kid and I guess a got bit by the bug.) If you buy one you will not be dissapointed! Only one problem... get ready for old timers telling you Triumph stories and drawing crowds (not kidding on this one). Have Fun!

If you're an experienced rider that needs a little thrill in your riding but you don't want to pay high insurance costs, this is your bike... look no further!

I realized that I had the option of either a twisty mountian pass (Like-Like Hwy) or a freeway (H3) and decided to make an attempt to enjoy Hawaii's year-round riding weather. Rain or shine I find myself choosing my Triumph. I bought it in lieu of a speed triple. (they only had a green one) a real bargin compared to the prices most 600cc bikes here cost, I am constantly suprised by the agility and responsiveness of this little bike. Gawked at and talked about by fellow riders, it's one of two on the whole island. I only wish they'd have put better shoes on it, I got rid of the battlax (Bridgestone) tires after 2000 miles, as they just didn't feel as ready to handle the corners as the bike did.

Man was I blown away by the performance! Smooth ,crisp throttle response, precision handling ,and pretty comfy too. Have done 250-260 mile days on it with no complaints. Have the Hi CF can on the bike and It Howls! These triples are just incredible. Windblast is an issue over 100mph so I have the mini-fairing on order. If you get a chance test ride one, but be prepared... you'll probably buy it on the spot! Excellent build, quality, and a 2 yr unlimited mileage warranty are just icing on the cake....

I test rode Ducati Monsters (620 and 916), which were nice. I kept looking at a green Speed Four at my local shop, and finally bought it (Feb 03). I paid a premium, compared to this year's price, but still feel like I got a deal. What a bike! I too, was shocked at the reaction people have to that bike. It is way different than the Bonnie (28,000+ miles), but still unusual. The bike is so different looking, and sounds like a symphony-of-howls rolling down the street. The stock pipe is cool (to me)! I have nearly 9,000 miles on it, and have had no probs. I ride it year-round, except in icy conditions. The Pacific Northwest seems to agree with my Triumphs.

I have been away from street bikes since my 1994 Kawasaki ZX6, but have been riding dirt on my ATK 605 for several years and other street and dirt bikes many years before that. I decided to jump back into the street scene headfirst. I have had a love affair with Triumph's since I saw my first 750 Tiger and Trident, too many years ago. I looked at everything from Ducati's to Yamaha's. But kept coming back to the Speed 3. I am happy I did. It is AWESOME in every way (except for the mirrors, I like my shoulders but don't like to look at them all the time) Just look at the reviews on the Internet and you will see what I mean. And last but not least is the incredible sound coming from this thing; it is unreal, sounds like a Porsche on steroids.

This bike is so awesome. I rode my 98 Ducati Monster M750 to this little shop in Marne IA, of which is about an hour away from me. It was a nice ride on the Ducati. Little did I know it would soon be my last ride on the M750. I pulled up to the Dealership and the owner of the shop said Ducati huh, I proudly replied "yep had it since 2000", best bike I have ever ridden", the owner replied ever ridden a Speed Triple? I said "no", he said "well the keys are in it take it for a spin", I thought that was cool of him, but frankly, I wasn't expecting much. I let the 955i warm up for a bit then started off down the road, my first impression was wow this thing is a little bulky, but the seating position felt pretty good, then I spotted the highway and it was straight for a mile or two so I had to hammer it, I cracked the throttle back and vroom, the power of this thing was amazing, I was hurled back into a wheelie for a few seconds, then I hit second and wheelied again for a second and looked down and I was doing over 90mph in just a few seconds, I rode it back to shop with a grin on my face and said "you take trades" and the shop owner laughed and said "you hit the highway huh" I said "yep" I bought the black 955i that day and love it every time I get on it. Pros are the great power, the handling, the seating and everything is great. Cons are it's not really for long tours, the wind really beats you up, but that is the price you pay for being naked.

This little sports rocket is a gem. A sports bike with the fairing off rather than a budget 600 like the Bandit. The Triumph has four coats of paint and is built to go through a British winter. It handles like a dream. It has an exhaust note, which turns heads. I spent the first thousand miles running it in with a grin on my face as everyone pavement side turned to see it, youngsters gaped, older men reminisced and everyone admired. If you want some class then buy this with no worries and put the single seat conversion on it. Snatchy in town this baby is made for the open road, a posing vehicle guaranteed to draw admiring glances. Expensive for its size yes, but you get what you pay for and what you get is top class suspension, chassis and braking. Oh and those twin headlights and that exhaust note. I've spent twelve years on fast Japanese bikes. My present bike is a Triumph. So too is my next one.
