Suzuki RM 250 reviews

Well, the Suzuki RMZ is one amazing bike that has tons of torque. What I mean when I say it has tons of torque is that it has tons in every gear! If you acccelerate pretty good, you'll be kicking up dirt across the yard. It is extremely fast and accelerates like a monster and is very loud. It can be heard over a half mile away! The cops stopped me the first day I rode it on the road but they let me go. Most power is low to mid range and is overall a blast to ride and is way faster than any two stoke out there, trust me, I've raced them. Show less

I bought my RM250 a few years ago now and back then it was only a year old. I used to be an exclusive Honda fan and had ridden only them for over twenty years! But then while looking for my new Honda, I thought bugger it, I'm here and threw my leg over the Suzi. And I've never looked back! Originally from north Queensland, she always handled perfectly through the numerous cane fields and when persued by the local law enforcement, easily outran their TTR's and they're seasoned riders. She's been in the shop for almost a year now as I've been pumping in the dollars getting her all trim and tidy again and my god the time off her is killing me! I even went so far as to buy another one to run around on while I get my original baby back. They are definitely the most slim and comfortable bike I've ever riden. The seat height is spot on for me at 6'1 and 85kgs. The only thing that has ever happened, was having the piston detonate which is why she's being rebuilt as we speak. You can push her all the way, but like anything, eventually she'll break. But overall, definitely an all round bike which I'll keep and ride until she can't ride no more. Show less

The first time I rode it, it put a smile on my face right away. I was sad about having to trade my old one but liked the rm100 so much that I forgot about it right away. So fast it almost threw me off the seat a couple times! Great bike I can't think of one bad thing excpet maintanence. Show less

Great bike overall, but it does lack in some top end. And the forks are a little soft for me but I changed a couple clicks on the compression and rebound and it is awesome now. It does have a lot of bottom end power and good midrange. The steel bars suck, I changed those as soon as I got the bike home. They say it's outdated because it doesn't have the alum. frame but it still weighs the same as the other bikes and feels light. It's no heavier than my 2004 YZ125. Overall bike is a very good bike and should be a top contender in '07. Show less

This bike flies. With enough gas this thing will do a wheel stand. By far this is the best 125 around. This bike will get you holeshot everytime. Suzuki RM 125 all the way! Good job Suzuki, this bike is one of a kind! Show less

This bike is ready to go box stock. Top speed is only complaint but dropping a front tooth in the front sprocket cures that. Excellent bike that can run with any of the current 450's. Show less

I went from a Honda CT110 to this beast and I'll never go back. This bike is so fast. It has beaten all the competition I went up against. I even raced a 2006 RMZ-450 which had a head start, caught up to it fast but it slowly pulled away when we both were tapped out. I couldn't ask for a better bike. It pulls wheelies easily in the first 4 gears. All my friends are amazed at how much power it has. I mostly trail ride it and it can do that to with ease. I highly recommend this bike to some one that has an experience on a 250. Show less

Got this bike a week ago and wow, great condition after a year, very powerful. I've been riding for 8 yearS and this the fastest bike I have had. I raced last week and smoked 250 4 strokes came in 2nd then came in 4th the next week. If your looking to race, this is the bike. Jumps really nice, suspension is great. Great bike for anybody to ride trails, race, or anything else. Show less

Great bike, I have had a blast riding it. This bike has lots of power that can really surprise you. I have put 15 hours of riding on the bike and the performance has been fantastic. I ride with a friend who has the 06 Honda 450f and we are very equally matched up. I think a lot of people under estimate the Suzuki. Show less

I bought my 450 in February 2005. I love this machine. I ice raced it that winter and won almost every class I entered on it. That was when it was bone stock. The four-speed worried me at first but proved to be better than my five speed Honda. I used to ride Honda but after I got my Suzuki, I put the Honda in the shed and sold it after the summer. I am currently working on setting it up in a dirt track chassis. If that works, I will be looking to buy another motor or whole bike if I have to. This thing is the best! Show less
