I've outgrown the bike, but it is still the best bike I have ever ridden because it has unimaginably amazing maneuverability and enough power for strolling up enormous hills like nobody's business. You can't ask for anything more in a bike. It is super lightweight, easy to ride and has an awesome powerband. It is easy to putt around the yard without ever fouling a sparkplug. It has awesome suspension and super great reliability. I can ride faster on this bike than many other big bikes because it is so easy to maneuver and control and so fun to scream through the gears.

I just bought this bike about a month ago and I'm extremely impressed with it. I haven't put enough hours on it to really test the reliability on it but so far everything has gone smoothly. I just transferred over from a CR85R Expert and the transition has been effortless. The power is smooth all the way from idle to the top. It signs off a little early but I think I'm still used to revving the heck out of my 85. The comfort is great, the suspension is perfect for me, and once I set the sag, adjusted a couple clickers it handled like no other machine. I like the turning better than on my 85! Overall this is a very powerful but extremely easy-to-use bike with no compromises. I would fully recommend it to anyone.

All in all I'm very very happy that I went with the 2007 RMZ 250 and I think you should do the same. Out of all the bikes I have ridden, the Suzuki dominated in handling and suspension also. It will rip through any rough corner that any other bike would struggle on.

Good bottom (I rejetted for the mid sputter it was having) and a good top end. Overall I like this bike as it has a nice hit but not too powerful to wear you out too quickly. Suspension is good on it as my heavier weight has yet to bottom it out. I'd recommend it to anyone...

Last year the RMZ250 suffered some bad reviews becuase of its old design. It was a great bike, especially in the woods due to it's awesome torque. My first spin on the 07' I discovered that it had even more torque and better throttle response than any 250f I have ridden to date. It barks like a 450! The power on top signed off a little early, but installing an FMF 4.1 system cleared that right up. The Showa suspension has made leaps and bounds over the KYB stuff from last year. It tracks straight and turns with no effort. So far I have checked the valves after 15 hours and found that no adjustment was necessary. Let's just hope it stays this reliable throughout its life. I would not hesitate to recommend this bike for motocross or trails. I would recommend an exhaust right away however. Stock it's pretty loud and does not have a spark arrestor. The FMF Powercore is resonably priced and allows for different iserts.

I have had some bad luck with Suzuki in the past, so I was a little hesitant about putting out this much cash for a new Suzuki. However, I have been really pleased with this RMZ. I have no complaints about the quality or reliabillity of this bike. Performance:(I am a C level mx racer) The magazines have done a great job of describing the performance of this bike. The power is mellow at small throttle openings. At large throttle openings the bike is fast, but the power is always smooth. Power signs off a little early on top; this bike likes to be short shifted. Handling is excellent; I have never ridden a bike that turns this well. Suspension is great. High speed stabillity is fine as I have not experienced any real headshake. The front brake is a little mushy though and lacks some feel. I would like to have a 5 speed trans, but the 4 speed gets the job done well enough. Maintenance: Coming from a 2 stroke, I was concerned about the maint. requirements of a 4 stroke. However, maint. on this bike is pretty simple. Manual cam chain tensioner is very easy to adjust. Cam chain hasn't needed any adjusting after initial 6 hrs. Overall, I think this is a great bike. I think that Suzuki has taken care of any quality/reliabillity issues they may have had in the past. I would buy another RMZ 450.
