I highly recommend this bike to anyone.

I just bought this bike from a guy I work with and love it. I can't get enough of riding it. My girlfriend and I argue over who gets to take the bike to work. Being a bigger guy the weight is not an issue for me and the throttle response is very snappy. Have to go now - time to... read more

This is the second Katana that I have owned. I had a 2005 Katana 750 for a year, put 8000 miles on it, and loved it. Got hit by a jerk reading a newspaper, who ran a red light, and t-boned me. Got the 2006 Katana 750 about 2 months ago, and love it as much as the 05. It's a very comfortable bike that's extremely easy to ride with plenty of power. Gets 45mpg, and is just heavy enough (470lbs) to not get thrown around by wind, and big vehicles...yet remain nimble, and easy to maneuver. Also, I get lots & lots of compliments on the bike everyday...people love them. I got both Katana's for a great bargain for such a great bike. These bikes have bullet proof reliability, and have been around for many years (15+)...It's too bad that this is the last year Suzuki will make the Katana's...so hurry and go get yours before they're all gone, you won't be sorry.

I have had numerous bikes over the years and this is my favorite. Might not drag my knee like on my CBR, but my back does not hurt after a two hour ride. Been thru some pretty strong winds and did not feel like I was losing any control. Has plenty of power to get me past traffic and I have run it to 145MPH. Only thing I have noticed is my hands fall asleep during long rides. Not sure what causes this. Noticed one other reviewer had same problem. Glad I got one before it is too late.

I bought the bike in May 2006 after looking at the "higher end" bikes. I finally settled on it due to price and wanting to get a 600 since it's my first bike. Overall it's great, but for a "beginner" bike, 457 pounds is quite a bit of heft (100 pounds more than a GSXR 600) and during acceleration, you definitely feel the weight. The foot pegs feel like they should be moved back a bit since when you move the bike, your legs tend to hit them and I wish it had a bit of a more "lay down" riding style to it for comfort. Overall, it's a great bike, great on gas, easy on the wallet, and by all means, a head turner. It does sound weak, but with a new exhaust, you liven it up quite a bit.

Extremely comfortable (except the stock seat is very uncomfortable on the '00 model so I put a gel seat on), looks awesome and has some good mid range power. I never had a single problem with my Katana. She was an awesome bike and every now and then I see the guy I sold it too riding it. I'm sure he is having a blast on it just like I did. After awhile, you may find you want more power and speed, but you picked a great bike to learn on.

This is a really good first bike, the only downfall I've had with it is that since they're not making them anymore, it's harder than heck to get any accessories outside of exhaust for it. Frame sliders have to be custom made, any other type of accessories aren't available from what I've seen. Nice... read more

This brute is capable of anything a new bike is at a fraction of the price.

I've had this Katana 750 motorcycle for about 3 months and I must say I'm very happy with it. It is a very comfortable bike that's extremely easy to ride with plenty of power and speed. Sure it can't pull wheelies in the first four gears, but it definately does have more than enough power(and then some)to jump you ahead of traffic and keep you there. I choose the katana over those other pocket racer bikes because it is a larger heavier sports bike and that's what I wanted. And believe me it does make quite a bit of difference especially on those windy days. Since I got my bike I've received nothing but compliments on how nice my bike looks and I must say I do agree! It's a shame that this is the last year Suzuki will make this model bike. I'm just glad I was fortunate enough to get one.

This is a great starter bike. I put 7k miles on mine in about 8 mo. Not too much get up and go for newbies. It forgives mistakes. Can still keep up with more sportier bikes too. won't be able to out do them, but you won't be left too behind either. Comfy as a couch too. When you're ready for... read more
