I liked the comfy seat of this bike. Great for up to 3 hours riding. I also liked that the seat was low at 31", so easy to reach the ground. I got up to 55 mpg out of this bike. I liked the bigger fuel tank at 5.3 gallons versus 3-3,5 for some other bikes. Can go longer during filling up. I got...

I liked the bigger fuel tank at 5.3 gallons versus 3-3,5 for some other bikes. Can go longer during filling up. I got 200-250 miles average per tank. Not much maintenance clean the carbs every 2 years along with regular oil changes. That's about it.

I Purchased this beast new on 1992.
I had owned a 1982 gs 1100 s.
Talk about another beast these standard where the foundation for the drag bikes of the day. That being said the 92 was a dream come true. Yes definitely heavy especially for being 5ft 8 in but never felt like i had any problems...

Still have it today with only 10.000 mile all original. Just have a stage 3 carb kit and after market pipe Vance and Hines.
Great for touring. Will never sell it!

Many people purchase this bike thinking that it is a cheap sport bike, which in one manner it is. It has the motor (and possibly frame) from the 88-91 GSXR 750. It's old, proven technology. If you think you're getting a sportbike that can hang with anything that has an "R" in the name, think...

Many people purchase this bike thinking that it is a cheap sport bike, which in one manner it is. It has the motor (and possibly frame) from the 88-91 GSXR 750. It's old, proven technology. If you think you're getting a sportbike that can hang with anything that has an "R" in the name, think again. This is a sport-touring bike which means you are going to sacrifice speed and agility for other features. It isn't spectacular in any one field but very good across the board. Consider the fact it has a centerstand, gas gauge, and a monster 5.2 gallon tank. Every day I ride it, I'm more impressed with how much of a "jack of all trades, master of none" this bike is. I rode it for 2,000+ miles over four riding days and it performed flawlessly with decent comfort. Could it be faster? Anything can be faster. Does it really need to be for daily road use? I don't think so

I just bought the bike about a month ago. It's my first bike and it is amazing. don't expect to catch a GSXR600 or CBR600, but this bike has plenty of power - more than enough power to get you some hefty speeding citations. I've taken the bike out for a couple hundred-mile rides and stay...

I've taken the bike out for a couple hundred-mile rides and stay comfortable the entire time. People with GSXR's can't say the same thing. It's well worth the money and now that it's 2010, you can find them at very reasonable prices.

I got this bike for the wide look & comfortable for the second rider. The second rider is level with me and not sitting so high up above me like most GXSR or sport bikes. That is important I think, for long rides or fast speeds. I recommend this bike and will stand by it, not just for a great price...

I bought a Katana 600 in 2009, which was my very first bike. It reliable and not too heavy to control. The only thing that went bad since I had it was the spark plugs over the heavy winter we had in Ohio, but other than that, I love the bike and I don't think I will want to trade it for something...

I am the one who traded this bike in. I traded for a Super Sport because I wanted to get into road racing in Birmingham. I was in the shop the other day and was tempted to buy the Katana back! It is a great all around bike. It is not the best touring bike, it is not the best sport bike, but it is the best of both worlds. The engine on the GSX750F is a tried and true bullet proof engine. This thing will run forever! I was able to hang with the guys on Super Sports on the street, but needed a lighter bike for the track. I would not hesitate to suggest this bike as a purchase for someone looking for a solid all around street bike.

I bought this bike as a left-over 2006 model. As a big guy I wanted a bike that would suit my size and not be too small. This is the bike. It has good looks, reliability and is reasonably comfortable. Later on I may trade up to a bigger bike, but for now I am as happy as Pam Anderson's pool...
