I liked the comfy seat of this bike. Great for up to 3 hours riding. I also liked that the seat was low at 31", so easy to reach the ground. I got up to 55 mpg out of this bike. I liked the bigger fuel tank at 5.3 gallons versus 3-3,5 for some other bikes. Can go longer during filling up. I got...

I liked the bigger fuel tank at 5.3 gallons versus 3-3,5 for some other bikes. Can go longer during filling up. I got 200-250 miles average per tank. Not much maintenance clean the carbs every 2 years along with regular oil changes. That's about it.

I Purchased this beast new on 1992.
I had owned a 1982 gs 1100 s.
Talk about another beast these standard where the foundation for the drag bikes of the day. That being said the 92 was a dream come true. Yes definitely heavy especially for being 5ft 8 in but never felt like i had any problems...

Still have it today with only 10.000 mile all original. Just have a stage 3 carb kit and after market pipe Vance and Hines.
Great for touring. Will never sell it!

This bike is my lifetime 20th motorcycle..About 14 dirt and 6 street. Third street suz. I got her after a 3 month search.. Wasn't looking for any specifics , just one that fit me....like an old shoe.Lucked out it was a suz which is my fav for the street... She was already 30 yrs old when I got her. All original. 2 owners. Garaged w/24k on her. 2nd owner had her 12 yrs. I asked how she rode on the fwy. He says,"I've never had it on the fwy.". Wow. Gave it a good up close examination. Just stared at it inch by inch. Took one slow lap around the block listening to every noise it made. Got back, paid the guy full asking price(1500) and we've been in love ever since. Can not wait to get home and ride everyday. I also live in Ventura Ca. where you can ride 360 days a year.
Ok....I lucked out. Finally. Almost any bike cared for like mine will be awesome. Find one that fits YOU.Dont just get what your buddy has.. But you could. I've crashed around 300 times, all in the dirt when I was younger. Not once in the street, almost a couple times though. This gixxer has plenty of acceleration braking, handling and reliability than I'll ever need. Actually going to take her to the track to see what she can really do.
1.make sure it fits you 2-take a riding course, or 2 if not much experience . 3Haul butt...for very brief moments when in street if is clear. Very brief. 4 .To the track if you need more. 5.200 mph you'll need a bigger bike. 150 is plenty for me..Have fun

I always had a passion for riding however, it wasn't until recently I was financially able to start enjoying the hobby. I started out on a Honda CBR500R and quickly upgraded to my 2019 GSXR600. I have always had "a thing" for white vehicles with black trim and when I saw Suzuki came out with this color option, I instantly fell in love. Not to mention, the way it feels when on it. Easy to flat foot the ground and very light which makes it a breeze to zip into curves with.
In my opinion it is as comfortable of a riding position as a super sport can be.
Quite honestly, it's hard for me to part with my first "real bike" however, I recently bought a 2022 ZX10R and don't have the space, or need for two bikes! If I was able to, I would keep both.. But unfortunately, I just can't. I know the next person who owns this bike will be thrilled and enjoy every minute of it - as I did.

Many people purchase this bike thinking that it is a cheap sport bike, which in one manner it is. It has the motor (and possibly frame) from the 88-91 GSXR 750. It's old, proven technology. If you think you're getting a sportbike that can hang with anything that has an "R" in the name, think again. This is a sport-touring bike which means you are going to sacrifice speed and agility for other features. It isn't spectacular in any one field but very good across the board. Consider the fact it has a centerstand, gas gauge, and a monster 5.2 gallon tank. Every day I ride it, I'm more impressed with how much of a "jack of all trades, master of none" this bike is. I rode it for 2,000+ miles over four riding days and it performed flawlessly with decent comfort. Could it be faster? Anything can be faster. Does it really need to be for daily road use? I don't think so

It's my first bike and it is amazing. don't expect to catch a GSXR600 or CBR600, but this bike has plenty of power - more than enough power to get you some hefty speeding citations. I've taken the bike out for a couple hundred-mile rides and stay comfortable the entire time. People with GSXR's can't say the same thing. It's well worth the money and now that it's 2010, you can find them at very reasonable prices.

I got this bike for the wide look & comfortable for the second rider. The second rider is level with me and not sitting so high up above me like most GXSR or sport bikes. That is important I think, for long rides or fast speeds. I recommend this bike and will stand by it, not just for a great price...

I bought a Katana 600 in 2009, which was my very first bike. It reliable and not too heavy to control. The only thing that went bad since I had it was the spark plugs over the heavy winter we had in Ohio, but other than that, I love the bike and I don't think I will want to trade it for something...
