I previously owned a Volusia and after a year realized that I needed 'longer legs'. I had considered a Yamaha because a friend had a V-Star 1100 and had upgraded to a Road-Star. I researched the LC and found some very positive reviews. Knowing how much I liked the Volusia, I really couldn't betray Suzuki. I had my dealer look and look and he finally found one of the last 2004's in Canada before the change to the injection C90T. Mine is the Canadian SE version with lightbar, boards, lowers, bags, sissy-bar, etc.. All of this was at a very reasonable price so I went for it and have never regreted it. It is a little balky in the morning until it warms up and maybe a thinner oil would help but I can accept that because once my baby's warm...look out. It is a really comfortable bike with sharp looks and power to boot. I get loads of positive comments and some young women have come over and oggled it...much to my wife's chagrin. The C90 will be much the same so do yourself a favor and go try one out for yourself...you'll see that I'm right.

This bike was bought from the original owner who purchased it new in 1996. He called it his Baby. I've had it for about 2 months and I love it. It is still very clean and the chrome and paint looks perfect. He did change the tires and went to a larger rear which helps lower cruising rpm. It has been very reliable for him and I anticipate the same. It starts right up and runs beautifully. Nice torque kick when you roll on the throttle at about 20 mph in second. I will be getting a new seat though.

I made the correct choice all my Harley rider friends love it and it gets the attention it deserves. This bike has plenty of get up and go and cruises great. I need to upgrade the seat but other than that I have no complaints, it will get those tail gaters off my pipes in a hurry. You know who you are.

The machine simply runs great. It sits for weeks at a time in an inflatable "Bike Bubble", and is dust-free and ready to ride when I get back to FL. Rides as strong as any HD out there, and can cruise at 90+ MPH all day with no effort. A hand-full in the city, but once moving, it shows its stuff. Keep shopping HD Fat-Boys - for the right reasons - but this bike does all that for lots less. With pipes and other slight mods - it can fulfill all the needs you have for such a beast! Just wish I could ride it more often!

I purchased my 2002 Volusia VL800 with less then 150 miles for an excellent price just two months ago. I had been looking at the new Boulevard C50 when I came across this gem. This was my first new bike in 15 years and I could not be happier with its performance. Prior to getting my Volusia I only rode to and from work. Now I also enjoy leisurely rides with a local motorcycle club. The 40 mpg and 4.5 gallon tank make for great rides without need for frequent stops.

It's easy to handle, very forgiving, lots of power if you need it, and very beautiful. It has 30,000 miles on it and runs like clock-work. After a lot of riding however, you do start to feel like you would like a bigger bike.
