I've added some items but it already came pretty well accesorized (windshield, sissy bar/pad, engine bars, rear floorboards) anyay, the ride is great, the controls are great, easy to manuver, starts everytime (unlike a riding buddies HD) comfort is ok, but could maybe use a better seat for longer rides. I commute about 45 miles each way to work about 3 days per week and comfort is fine for that. Some of the plastic isn't up to that of equal metal, but the plastic gives more and doesn't dent and when scratched, isn't as obvious as metal, plus it keeps the weight down. Get this bike, you won't be dissappointed. They even have a great website for Volusia/Boulevard riders.

My c50 has not given me any trouble. I have had it across 2 states and back. The stock seat had to go. I finally bit the dust and bought a Mustang seat and glad I did. Now I can ride all day and not squirm like a worm on the seat. If it were up to my wife, we would live on the bike. May upgrade to...

This bike is phenomenal! I can't believe how much bike you get for so little $$. I love how this bike feels underneath me. I haven't ridden a bike in nearly 15 years, but when those money gouging oil tycoons raised the price of gas, it was back to the bike. It has plenty of power to travel on...

I haven't ridden a bike in nearly 15 years, but when those money gouging oil tycoons raised the price of gas, it was back to the bike. It has plenty of power to travel on the highway. The only complaint I have is the stock seat. It starts to get a little stiff after an hour or so. I think I am going to get the gel seat for it. If I decide to upgrade, I will definetly look real hard at the C-90. If the C-50 is this good, imagine what the big brother is like.

I find it has great fuel economy and lots of grunt. People never fail to stop and admire the bike when I park it, and ask a myriad of questions about it. It is easy to handle and has all the power I need. It has a great rumble from the exhaust, and with the fuel injection I am half way to where I'm going before the guy across the street with a Harley gets his started. I also like the low maintenance of the bike, most of which I can do myself. You could do a lot worse than buy one of these. The only downside at present is the lack of accessories for the bike in Australia.

I took our daughter to college last summer and saw tons of cruiser riders having way too much fun so, I got the C50 after LOTS of homework and research. I'm glad I got it, ride to work most days, and took a few 100-200 mile trips with no problems. I put on a windscreen, saddlebags, and got a sheepskin cover--heavenly! Just waiting for the nice weather to get here soon--see ya on the road.

It looks awesome (I have the Blue/Black model), sounds great (I hate the ridiculously loud open-pipe sound), and has just the right features (fuel injection, floorboards, heel-toe shifter). Because it is so good, I notice some of the things I don't like that much more...
These are the things I would change on this bike, although I would consider them to be nitpicks:
- A longer 5th gear or add a 6th gear. I frequently think that I'm in 4th when I hit 60, but am actually in 5th. Since it seems to rev so high (no tachometer so I can't say what the RPMs are) can really knock the MPG down a few degrees, though it still averages out to about 48 MPG, which is great.
- I would have liked a larger tank. 4.1 gallons isn't bad, but I just hate going to the gas station, so a larger range would have been good, too.
- The toe part of the heel-toe shifter needs to be out about 2 inches and down about 1. I have size 12 feet and I find myself feeling a touch cramped in terms of foot position. I'm considering finding a metal worker/chromer to extend it, or simply buy a new one...
- The one design choice I can't stand is the license plate frame position. They went to all the trouble to have a nice, smooth line that runs from the top of the gas tank, down the seat, then up and over the rear fender. Then BLAM!, the clean look hits the vertical wall known as the license plate. I realize Suzuki has to adhere to the lowest common denominator, but they really could have integrated it better. Anyway, I'm very happy with this bike. It's smooth, shifts quickly and easily, has good power/torque, and is a lot of fun.

This is the first bike I've had since before the kids were born. Now that the last one is off to school, I wanted to have fun again. Spent a lot of time researching and thought the C50 would be the best entry back into riding, considering cost, power, and reliability. So far it has exceeded my expectations. The learning curve was quick and easy for someone who hasn't ridden in years; the bike is very quick off the mark, smooth, easy to handle, accelerates uphill with my big rear-end, shifts smoothly, has a nice throaty rumble without making the neighbors mad, and looks good too! The only wish would be for a 5th gear that works more like an overdrive. Up to 55 mph it just hums and has to work when you get up to 70 mph with a bit of vibration, but not too uncomfortable, particularly when you consider this is a mid-size. haven't tried a second rider, so can't comment on performance there. But for leisurely single cruising, you couldn't ask for more. If you are serious for an entry level bike, look no further.
