Excellent motorcycle, extremely reliable, comfortable ride with forward controls and mini Apes. Always kept up with maintenance. This bike made it to Sturgis 2012 and back to Seattle. I love the power of this machine. No matter the gear I'm in, it always has a very smooth acceleration feel to it. The gear shifts are precise and I've never missed a gear. Tires are close to needing replacing, willing to work with overall price to help. Other than minor nicks and chips, the bike is in very good condition. Show less

This is an older HD, so obviously not quite as comfy as the newer models; however, it has held my wife and me in good stead through long trips from SoCal up to Wyoming and Victoria, B.C., among others. With the upgraded Performance Package installed in 2012, the overall power increased by about 15%, and that was a worthwhile addition. I just turned 70, and my joints are starting to fail on me, so physically it was time for me to admit that Father Time has gotten the best of me, at least when it comes to riding a bike. But I've loved my HD from the day I purchased it, and although over the sixteen years that I've owned it, it's got a few bumps and nicks, it's still a solid bike, and if I was ten years younger, I wouldn't consider parting with it. Triumph Speedmaster (1200cc) The Speedmaster seems a little overlooked, as Triumph's copy of an HD Softail. But it's EXCELLENT. It is supremely comfortable, and handles very well, with a lot of grunt, not too much weight, and a very light-feeling front end. The tank, seat, and general lines, are beautiful and classic. The beach bars and forward controls make for a very laid back but easy riding position, and it is a LOT of fun to ride. The exhaust note is the best from a factory exhaust I've heard, honestly! It is not too loud, not quiet, just a beautiful deep thrum from the 1200 twin. I added a Madstad windshield, bags, a sissy bar, and bobbins for chain maintenance, and that is all it needed. It comes with just enough features, and the cruise control is easy and intuitive. making it good for long rides. Beautiful, reliable, fun, and easy. Take this thing to the cafe, or across country, it is a very gratifying, pretty, and functional road cruiser. (I like it better than the HD Softail, too. Not as heavy, hot, loud, or difficult. I never had to make any excuses for this Triumph. Fantastic bike!) Show less

Absolutely a great bike!!! Amazing power, amazing handling. Great reliability. Great looks. Just a bulletproof bike. The shaft drive is super smooth and the power is endless. Front air forks, rear airshocks work perfectly. Very comfortable bike for driver and passenger. I would recommend these bikes to anyone who loves to ride. Not for a beginner though that's for sure. Must be an experienced rider. Show less

This is a great motorcycle for anyone. It's not too heavy and easy to handle. Plenty of power and runs great. I just needed a bigger MC for long MC trips. I bought this last summer from Lexington and have ridden it 3000 miles . It was just serviced at the local Honda dealership and WV state inspected. No issues whatsoever. Show less

I bought one new. I rode it to work every day, rain or shine. In 15,000 miles, I never had a problem with it. My only complaints are the low gear ratio of the final drive, the lack of a tachometer, and the lack of a 6th speed gear in the transmission. I loved this bike. Show less

the air / oil cooled 865cc version (2009 up to 2019) are SUPER reliable and are still a high performance feel and a very sporty and accurately handling bike: it goes exactly where you want and has STRONG braking power if you come across one with 2 discs up front.
