2007 KTM 525 XC-G Racing

I have just purchased my 07 KTM 525 XC-W. The bike is beautiful to look at, it's hard to believe the sex-appeal that just the black rims add. I have just purchased my 07 KTM 525 XC-W. The bike is beautiful to look at, it's hard to believe the sex-appeal that just the black rims add. When you jump on, the first thing you'll notice is the POWER - more then any sane person needs. Hill climbing becomes a breeze, no clutch work, just thottle control. The bike is a little more snappy than a trail bike, but respect the power...and it becomes a gentle gaint. You can lug through the more technical trails, or easily snap it up and over any obstacles in front of you. This bike fast! Top speed in 6th gear is around 90 mph/170kmph, and you've got a speedometer to prove it. The only problem is stock it runs hot so your going to need a fan kit that simply bolts on. Other than that, just a pry-bar to get yourself off this bike.

This is by far the best bike I've ever had or rode. I love my bike! At first, everyone told me dont get a KTM cause they suck but that's just people talking so I got it and am so happy! I killed my friend first day on the bike at the track. The bike is so smooth and it just rails corners. It...

I killed my friend first day on the bike at the track. The bike is so smooth and it just rails corners. It handles like a dream. I traded in an 05 KX250F for it and haven't looked back. I'll never go back to anything but orange and it starts easy! almost first kick even when hot dont know how the quality is yet cause ive only had one track day on it but sure it will be great

It is so easy to ride yet handles single track, wide open desert or motocross with ease. Once jetted properly, you most likely will not need ANY engine mods cause this bike has plenty of power. All the components on the bike are top notch. Mine has been stone reliable. Recommend this bike to most anyone. If you ride it-you will buy one.

The handling and power of the bike are the best. Air craft quality, this machine is race ready. Fast, agile and light. I see broken down blue and green fast bikes, trouble starting fast red bikes, very respectable but slower yellow bikes, so my world is now a new color. And I am in love. Single...

Single track or desert, this is the one. Some one would say for desert, a 650 would be better and for single track a 250 would be better, but for me, my KTM is way BETTER.

I purchased this bike recently and I have to say I'm impressed! I haven't had a bike for some time and my last bike was a 1990 KX250...I thought that was fast. This bike goes 85 with throttle to go. Bike performs great right from delivery; I think the front needs to be a little stiffer but great...

Bike performs great right from delivery; I think the front needs to be a little stiffer but great bike. I would want a 200 or 250 if I were going to do a lot of tight single track. However, for the desert it's great. I do find the seat very firm...Enjoy

Just moved up from a KDX 200 that I really liked. But My son got a KTM 125 EXC and one day I rode it up a rocky hill helping him. Wow, it just crawled up the almost rock hill. Impressed, I found a used 2003 KTM EXC 200 on ebay and went for it. What a difference. Where I would of been down in...

Impressed, I found a used 2003 KTM EXC 200 on ebay and went for it. What a difference. Where I would of been down in the woods on some bad situations with my KDX, the KTM just brought me through them like nothing. Power is there, low end is there. Wonderful woods bike. Still making friends with it. I am an old guy, age 52, and the bike is easy to handle and the weight issue is great. Love it.
