You returning riders will not believe how much better this bike handles than your Hawg! Much more fun. I have started to commute on this wonderful machine.

I finally got another bike after selling mine in '98. Man this bike is amazing. It may not be quite as fast as the other sportbikes, but deffinately gets the job done as long as you are not one of those professional racers. The only negative about this bike is the seat. I'm waiting to get one with a little more cushion but besides that, this bike is golden.

I'm one of those guys who studies every aspect of something before I buy - the all around type, you guys like me know who you are. I was looking at the Kawasaki ZRX1200, the Bandit 1200, the FZ6, SV1000S and the Z750S. The ZRX is missing fuel injection, wind protection and digital information (I would love an updated ZRX!, The Bandit is missing the same thing plus smoothness, The FZ6 is missing torque and the SV's handle bars are too low (the engine is great though - as is the ZRX). The Z is faster than anyone really needs, I mean I can't belive I thought I needed 145 Hp! I have driven many fast bikes but not for the last few years. The biggest suprise performance wise with this bike is the roll-on acceleration, especially in 6th. I was very surprised and NO 600 will keep up in terms of roll-on. The other thing is the windprotection. I just don't think of the wind as an issue when I'm ridding and it's because the windshield works very well. The blue paint job is excellent and the bike is just perfect with a tank bag. The seat is comfortable in terms of the padding and regular use but the shape could be better. If cruising on the highway, it is fine. But if you are in town and accelerating quickly from stop to stop, the seat pushes you forward and ends up lifting your pants and exposing you socks. No big deal but a better seat and I could (will) live with this bike forever. It is fuel efficient and my inssurance is $250 a year CDN. P.S. The bike will out handle you unless you are a track driver so don't worry. For the same price as the other middle weights, go for the extra 150CC its soooo worth it!!

Very comfortable to drive, throttle is very responsive, I can still lean down on the tank comfortably to reduce wind resistance. It is a great all around bike, and I love the fuel injection. I agree with some of the other posts that the seat causes the rider to be pushed forward but not a huge problem yet. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone. I love the naked bikes! The half fairing is great at reducing the wind on the rider. Overall it brings back memories of my old 1978 KZ650C.

A run through first gear and part of second will get you to 80 mph in a hurry. The brakes stop very well, and it handles OK. I think the steel frame makes the handling feel SLIGHTLY sluggish. The only thing I would change is the seat. Its design pushes you forward most of the time. Overall, install a new seat (none available yet) and go to an aluminum frame (not cost effective) and you have a perfect bike.

As a former dirt bike rider, the street is a whole new world. The Z750S is an excellent way to get on street for a mid level rider after the MSF course. Very nice balance, easy to ride with good rider position. The look, feel and sound is just awesome and Kawasaki has done a wonderful job putting this bike together. Power is great, brakes are smooth and strong, gauges are easy to read and everything you need is there. As the bike is still under break in, the power is really coming on just in time to shift (4K) but you know as soon as you twist the throttle that this is a high performance engine, as it is from a slighty modifided Ninja motor. You get on and just go. All the good stuff is here after a mile or so of riding the smile will not come off.

A couple of days ago I purchased and brought home a beautiful blue Kawasaki Z750s. My previous bike was a 1991 Honda Night Hawk which is an air-cooled, carbureted "tank" compared to the finesse and sophistication of the Z750. My first reaction when I sat on it was that my feet actually touched the ground. In an age of ever rising seat heights it's nice to feel the balls of your feet on "terra firma" occasionally. At 5'6" this was a primary consideration. I found the hour long ride home from the dealer a thrill. The Kawasaki rides on rails, is light on the turns and begs to be opened up on straight roads. As a short rider I found the ergonomics comfortable and my butt never went numb as some reviews would have it. The small front fairing does a good job of protecting me from the wind as I ride and isn't in the way. The digital clock on the dash is readable and nice, however the speedometer is difficult to read because all the numbers are close together. The one thing I have a problem with is the rear view mirrors. They are difficult to adjust to a place where you see more than your own elbows. I found however that by pushing them forward I could angle back and see behind me reasonably well. Well the reason why I only gave the bike four stars is because I've only had it a couple of days and don't feel that my review holds as much credibility as it would have if I had ridden a couple thousand miles. I'm very impressed with what you get for the price on this bike.

Being short, I had the bike lowered by 2 inches prior to taking delivery. I find the K750S has plenty of performance and handles very well. So far the bike has been dependable and is doing everything I want it to "well". My only 2 gripes are the seat has a tendency to scoot the driver forward and into the tank. I wish there was an aftermarket seat available. And also I wish there was an option to have the bars brought back an inch or so. Other than that, it's great!
