I was once an avid rider when I was younger. Typical story, stopped riding for many decades came back, bought a bike, didn't like it, kept searching until the ZX-9R kept showing up in my results. A circumstantial test ride only caused me to fall half in love with the bike, b/c it was going to be a project. But it didn't take long for me to find what this bike's strengths were; going long distances at decent average speeds. What a fun motorcycle! The ZX-9R should come with two warning labels. One for how addicting it is to ride and another to warn the new owner: Last of the great street sportbikes. You’ll have friends trying to lure you away from her. And as much as your eye will wander, be wise and hang onto her, because you’ll see those same friends’ bikes come and go without a second thought or attachment. Psychologically, you and her might actually be contributing to that. You’ll be revered and jealously despised by other riders at the same time. You can crash her multiple times and come back with only scratches. Kawasaki will not be held responsible for forthcoming fond memories and thrills. Not just a Ninja, the ZX-9R is a sportbike with soul. And lastly, owning just one may not be enough.* * I now own concurrently own three, all registered, insured and ready to ride.

If you have never ridden a super-charged motorcycle before, doing so will forever change your perspective. Above around 4000 RPM, twisting the throttle will instantaneously transform you into a precision cruise missile. It is an incredible feeling to ride a bike without any engine fade or acceleration lag. And the supercharger "chirping" as it internally goes supersonic is a total kick. This is what makes sport riding truly fun! The H2 SX is often marketed as a "super sport touring" bike. The handle bar height finds a nice comfortable balance position between a typical Ninja rocket sled and a regular street machine; just the right amount of forward lean for a sport/touring motorcycle with such performance specs.

This is by far the best motorcycle I have ever had the pleasure of owning. If you enjoy sportbikes and also enjoy riding occasional long distances, this bike is for you. If you are an older gentleman who enjoys a comfy seat with a plush ride, this is for you. If you are a kid, this bike is not for you. This 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE is an engineering feat to behold. The supercharged engine combined with a beautifully assisted quick shifter and a great working electronic cruise control creates an amazing experience. The electronic suspension on the model is 100% worth the extra money. You can change any setting while ridding on the beautiful full color LCD display or in the Rideology app on your phone and send the settings to your bike. The throttle response is nothing short of sublime, and when you understand how important the supercharger is in the linear power delivery, you understand that you want this engine in every other bike. It's that good, so good in fact that I would take this bike over more expensive and higher end bikes brands you'd expect (Ducati, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Norton, HD, BMW, whatever...). The icing on the cake is the color scheme for the 2019 SX SE model. The mostly grey and black with subtle green here and there makes for a well put together color scheme; I enjoy the 2019 colors more than the 2020 and up mostly green colors. And the model has self healing paint. C'mon! :)

In fact, on a curvy backroads group ride I had a passenger on the back and easily kept up with my sportbike mounted friends. I thoroughly enjoyed zipping around on this light nimble machine. The slightly leaned forward position is good for dealing with the wind you typically get on the head

Bought this bike for my son as a beginning rider, but I ended up riding it once in a while. Loads of fun. It's light and quick - very torquey at the low-end and in the mid-range, and no problems on the highway, with well over 100mph top speed. The parallel twin makes a nice growling sound for a 300cc, and there is no need to add a different exhaust, unless you want to pull some weight off the bike. The 2014 version had a few nice upgrades, including an assist slipper clutch, redesigned seat, and nice digital display. This 300 is easily mistaken for a midweight sportbike, with its muscular fairing, aggressive lines and full-size frame. Make no mistake - its a real motorcycle that will thrill!

Purchased used and could not believe the fun I have had on that bike and taking it to the beach roads along the Atlantic in Florida the bike turns heads!!!!! It sounds like a Ferrari when you get above 5000 rpm.... Im a safe driver and after getting used to the bike on a sunday morning at 6 am I took off on the interstate and went to 145 and had a lot of throttle left... What torque...... That was the only time I took that bike up to those speeds again.... If you want a bike that.... Well the girls in bikinis will love to ride then this is the bike!!!!..... It feels so great and comfortable and u will love your bike.. Im looking for another one as I write this....Bob

I bought this motorcycle new in 2010. Riding bikes for more than 40 years, and I'v ridden quite a few, this bike is really awesome. I bought it just for fun rides, but I can't believe the power it has and the superb handling, upright riding position, sport bike style. I go on some serious riding trips now with my buddies who have 600s and 1000cc bikes, and I keep up with them most of the time. As I'm getting older now, I'm looking to trade this in for a more upright, relaxed riding position bike.
