I love the power of this machine. No matter the gear I'm in, it always has a very smooth acceleration feel to it. The gear shifts are precise and I've never missed a gear. This bike, this work of mechanical art, a bike that's almost organic in the absolute love that you'll come to have for it. I actually named it Shangri La, from a Led Zepelin lyric. I live in SW Pennsylvania; Shangri La. has provided me with many adventures in the mountains. I even took a trip or two to Flight 93 Memorial and Gettysburg. The longest ride that I took her on was to Bowling Green, Ky. The ride there was unbelievably comfortable. My route is usually going from Cincinatti to Louisville, on down to Bowling Green. That one time, I decided to go through Lexington, Ky. for some sightseeing. This took me a good way out of the way, by the time I turned my forks back towards my true destination, the sun was beginning to get low. Shangri La gave me enough power with her 111 Thunderstroke engine, that I reached my destination before dark. All through my trip, any trip actually, I get tons of compliments on her. Many people think it's an antique bike, due to the new corporate owners of the Indian Name, Polaris, modeling the Indian Vintage from the 1948 year, just with 21st century technology. I am selling her with a tremendous amount of sadness and reluctance due to my second bike wreck where I went down hard. I'm 65 years old now and beginning to feel my mortality. Shangri La, because she in being my dream bike of all time, btw the bike I went down on was a Sportster 1200. Any who, I did annual preventative maintenance on her, she has been garage kept. This bike will give you a status of at least one cut above. I can't really add much more, except to say I love her, and you will to. The only wear that you will see, is understandably the seat, from me riding her. I would include a statement of being negotiable, but the asking price is already what Cycle Trader states as typical asking price. If I were to negotiate, and that is a big if, I may consider some but remember, you are getting a very good deal...

This motorcycle was incredible and it is a sad day that I am listing it. I have never had any issues with this motorcycle and it is a HEAD TURNER everywhere I ride it. The aggressive riding style made it feel like I was not riding a cruiser but a sport-style bike. This bad boy is fast and I will be purchasing another Scout Bobber again in the future. My favorite thing about this bike was that there are nearly no other riders on the road that have the same bike as I would. Whether I was pulling up to a stop sign, cruising on the highway or pulling into my end destination, I would have people comment on how beautiful of a bike it is. People would always ask about the bike and where I purchased. If you decide to purchase this motorcycle, prepare for a ton of compliments!

The reasons I bought a 2019 Indian Scout 60 is because I like the size, and weight of the motorcycle. While this bike has plenty of power for its weight of 542 lbs, I don’t ever feel it’s too much for me to handle. I am a late (very) to riding motorcycles. The scout is well balanced I like the larger tires which give me more confidence with traction in mind. The leather seat is very comfortable and the rider position feels natural and upright without any awareness of a particular position - “it just feels right”. One stand out feature I am particularly impressed with is ABS brakes. I have read that insurance studies have shown a 37 % decrease in accident avoidance with this feature. The Indian Scout 60 has impressive acceleration and yet I find it easy to roll slowly on country roads chugging along enjoying a Sunday afternoon.

I walked in on Opening Day & See my bike. Sales person, "May i help you? Yes. It that Pearl Chief sold? No. It is Now, Please start the paperwork. Everywhere i ride, a Min. of 5 - 20 people walk up to take photo's & ask questions. "This is the Real Deal! This bike is Stunning!" India

I have not ridden much since the 70's. Beyond the great looking lines on this bike, I was looking for a platform that fit me well and was easy to handle. After a sketchy ride in the neighborhood (my doing not the bike), I ventured out on the main roads for a day of riding. Riding cautiously I became comfortable after 134 miles, both city and open road riding. The following day I rode 177 miles. This bike is very comfortable, handles well, and has incredible power. It is also a great looking bike with people curious about Indian and happy to see a tradition coming alive again.

I have been riding for 45 years now and have had everything from Honda's to Harley's. For the past 25 years I had mainly Harley's and then I got my Indian. This bike is amazing in most all ways. It looks and feels small compared to my Harley Ultra but that does not stop it from feeling great on the road. The brakes are second to none and the power of the S&S motor can really get your blood flowing. The fit and finish of the bike is also better than most anything else out there. The only real complaints I could make would be the size of the gas tank and the poor gas mileage I am getting.
