The bike was used as my backup bike to my 2015 Yamaha V-Star 950) and I would use it to commute to work (100 mile round trip). In October of 2021 I totaled my Yamaha V-Star ( hit a deer at 50 miles per hour). Since then the Honda 750 has been my only bike and she how has over 25,000 on her. The Honda Aero is a very good overall machine capable of doing 80 miles per hour all day. The Yamaha 950 is in my opinion the next level up and was a exceptional machine. My Honda 750 has a windshield, mustang seat, bags, sissy bar, floorboards and large trunk bag. I consider my Honda to be my miniature Road King and a lot of complements on her. I retire in 2 years and will get myself a new bike as a retirement gift. I will keep the Honda 750 because it’s an overall very good bike with really excellent gas mileage. However, I will be buying a larger touring bike maybe a used 2017 Yamaha 1300 Deluxe ( last year made) or maybe even my dream bike a newer used HD Heritage classic.

They seems to get good reviews; however, they are not very professional nor honest with customers. They've apparently had it too easy. Honesty in customer salesmanship is not in their in the offing. I have spent a good deal of amount of money in previous years with good and reliable M/C shops, but never here.

After many, many years of fathering kids and doing the dad stuff, I opted to get back on a used 2008 Honda Shadow VT750 Aero. I used to ride waaaay back in my teens, circa 100 years ago. The thrill of getting on this machine is just too much to describe. I am the type of guy who will use this cruiser to, well, cruise. Hit the speed limit and I'm good. Wait a few extra seconds after the traffic light has turned green, and I am safe to go on. I let the crotch-rocketers zip by me. That's cool. The bike only has 7,800 miles on it! That's 7,800 miles on a 14-year-old bike! The last, and the only owner didn't ride it for two years and she put something like 560 miles a year during its life. I got the bike for a song and added some nice, black leather bags which cost me nothing. A friend just gave them to me. Cannot beat this deal. The bike is low and I feel in complete control. It's heavy enough to sustain moderate winds and happily hums at 60 mph. The gearing is a little low and you are soon into 5th by the time you hit 40 mph. The bike will let you know when to start downshifting. It's big enough to stand out in moderate traffic and I have not yet felt threatened by any tailgaters. Its also a gas-siper which is a good thing today. I believe it gets 60-70 MPG. Though, don't quote me on that. I fully recommend this bike to any other old fart, like me. It's also a nice bike to learn on. Not too big/too small. Perfect. Oh, and if you do buy this bike, don't forget a solid helmet and good quality jacket!

Bought this bike out of the crate but 3 yrs old. So I got it cheap. Had not ridden a bike in 15 yrs and wanted something reliable and predictable. I wanted something that I could ride around through the back country roads and take day trips on comfortably with my GF. I also wanted something that I could customize myself. The stock seats were not awful but got uncomfortable after a couple hours. Changed those out for Mustang seats with driver backrest and that made a huge difference. Added a passenger backrest so my GF felt safer and I swapped out both the passenger and driver pegs for floorboards. That made a difference too. Added engine guard and highway pegs and saddle bags which made day rides out to the mountains a lot easier, able to stretch out a bit and pack enough snacks and drinks and extra clothes like a raincoat or sweatshirt that we have at least the basics for a day out. I added fender trim and a front fender ornament. For a basic bike with a few upgrades, I get a lot of compliments on its looks. Bike has plenty of power, even with 2 of us on it. Not gonna race a rice grinder but plenty to cruise comfortably at 70. Handling is solid and predictable. The mechanics are reliable. Maintenance is easy as heck. I think if I were going to do a week long trip I would want a bigger bike with more bells and whistles but for a day tripper or even a weekend this bike is more than fine with a few comfort upgrades.

Well after all those years Goldwing decided not to be called as a "Lazy Boy Couch on two Wheels" I guess and finally redesign the whole thing. As every newly designed item some points were a "miss" and some were a "wow" (in a good way)... Like famous saying "there is no such thing as perfect bike" we can all agree no bike can do everything great. For a bike to fit perfectly in a category it has to be stripped from the specifications of the other classes. So, one can not expect the passenger comfort to be great on a Hayabusa and don't expect a Goldwing perform great on a knee deep creek crossing... of course don't expect the wind protection of a Goldwing or an R12xxRT on a GS model. Whatever bike you'd like to bike stop comparing it with other brands/models. Even if they are in the same category. Don't think what bike A does compare to bike B and compared to bike C... But rather make a list of your priorities and buy the bike that fits your description of those. What are you looking at a bike? What kind of riding you do? etc, etc... So, What a 2021 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT does good? What it brings to the table ? - Honda's Goldwing Engine reliability... - DCT's comfort and ease of riding... - Technological advancements like ABS, Hill Start Assist, Traction Control, Riding modes, LED lights, Large color screen, Heated grips/seats, walking mode, Reverse gear etc... - Technological fun stuff like GPS, Apple/Android Car Play, SiriusXM radio, AM/FM/Bluetooth AUX connection - Goldwing world famous passenger comfort, - Newer larger capacity top case (compared to 2018-2019 models) I ride since I was 17 and that means I am riding since last 47 years. Like many of you guys I only owned and ride manual transmission bikes whether 5 or 6 speed. DCT was a curiosity purchase mainly and because of the good reviews too in a way. Since last 10 years I changed 10 bikes I told myself "what could go wrong"... If I didn't like it I could change this one too. Only few weeks past since the purchase and only 1500 miles I put on during this time. Does my left hand reaching for an invisible clutch time to time? Yes... Does my left foot kicking the air during a rapid acceleration from a dead stop position? Heck yes! But do I admit bike rides like a dream? Also heck yeah! For those who'd like to be in charge of which her they are in and when, please remember there is a Manual mode on this otherwise Automatic bike. Drop to 3rd or kick it to 7th whenever you pleased to do so under any circumstance. Then when you get tired of doing it just simply touch the button marked "A" and let the bike do it for you whether you're on tight twisties averaging 20-35mph or on a straight away Interstate cruising at 80 mph. As for slow speed maneuvers as we all know "parking lot maneuvers", trust me you'll get used to within an hr or so after getting on this bike! Will it perform parking lot tricks for the audience after an hr? No possibly not... But after a week or so, you can do that too! Once muscle memory begins to disappear and loosen the grip of your brain everything becomes the second nature on a Goldwing DCT... Heck, every time I switch bike models and brands that muscle memory cause me to blow my horn in most inappropriate times instead of hitting the signal switch or vice versa. Once the location of the controls etched in your brain there is no way going back to MT... Unless you're a person who is driving a car with Automatic transmission and at every passing mile you wish you were in a car with stick shift, trust me in a week or so after owning one you'll never look back and feel sorry for not having a bike with manual transmission! As for the other common gripe I hear regarding luggage capacity of the last generation of Goldwing Tour; I don't know how much stuff you're taking with yourselves on a one-up tour but the saddlebags are more than adequate for a modern era Touring adventure for reasonable times and destinations. If you're planning an Ewan McGregor style Long Way Round type circumnavigation, just remember they've had a supply truck followed them... For those of you touring one-up, there's always possibility to put a portable bag on passenger seat and voila or those of you who are traveling with your spouses just tell your sweetheart to leave the washer and dryer back at home please! Hope to see all of you on the road no matter what you choose to ride and where you choose to ride... So have fun and be safe out there!

Bought this bike because I liked the look of it, mine is Pearl Ivory Cream and Black, named her Pearl, lots of tasteful aftermarket studded accessories, driving lights, saddle bags, etc. Lots of torque, almost as much as my 93 V65 Magna, which is saying something, factory exhaust does not need replacing, excellent exhaust note, turns easily in the 16', very nimble, vibrates a little due to the single crank pin but that's what makes it even greater. Can't believe these bikes go for so cheap. They're a hidden gem. 81,000kms on mine. Replaced all fluids voluntarily, oil and filter of course every year, brakes and tires recently and I'm good for a good while yet. Love the bike. It's on bikez.com it's way in in the pics but if you look you'll see the front of a tractor to the right in my garage. Don't hesitate, get one. Really fun to ride.

This bike holds true to the Honda brand reliability. When my other bikes were needing special fuel or significant repairs this one was very reliable needing only basic maintenance. It always started without hesitation and the exhaust purrs proudly without bring obnoxiously loud. The wind shield is positioned just right so the noise and pressure flow over your Helmut while allowing a cooling current to pass around your body, very comfortable. This machine has been well maintained and always kept in a garage. It should provide many more years of fun and excitement across your roads of adventure. Let's get out there!
