I have to agree. I owned a yellow 94 magna. I upgraded the rear shocks to a pair of werks and progressive springs for the front. I've owned both, sport bikes and cruisers. Though I like some of the big twins, the magna is hard to beat as a all around cruiser. It's nimble enough to hustle thru the curves, suttle enough to cruise the boluevard, but can and will take bigger V-Twins at the stop light. It's nice to see the surprise look on the faces of the Harley owners when you spank them. I would recommend a different saddle, because the stock one is okay for around town, but not for any long or even short trips. There is a cool two into one pipes that can be bought for these bikes. It's a de-tuned VFR engine that gets the job done in the midrange instead of the top end. It's a baby valkerie. I am planning on getting another one to go along with my sport bike so I can have one of each.

I don't know if the folks from Honda ever read this forum, but from the looks of things and the rave reviews here..THERE IS A MARKET OUT THERE FOR MAGNAS. I've owned my bright red Magna since '96 and it is by far the best bike I've ever had. (and I've been riding motorcycles since 1965). Sure it...

I've owned my bright red Magna since '96 and it is by far the best bike I've ever had. (and I've been riding motorcycles since 1965). Sure it doesn't have a real long range as far as fuel, but this bike has not given me one ounce of problem since I've had it. I just love blowing the "doors" off my fellow Harley riders. I just wish Honda would pick up on this market instead of focusing on the "harley clones". (Wouldn't an 1100 version of the Magna just be plain awesome !!). Please, Honda, don't let this great bike die.

Bought a highly customised Magna (my first bike) and loved it. It had a screen, paint job, cobra slash cut pipes which sounded fantastic, cobra pillion floorboards, driving lights etc. Now own a Triumph Sprint ST which is a sweet bike. The main reason I sold the Magna was its small fuel tank. If...

The main reason I sold the Magna was its small fuel tank. If they could beef up the grunt to say 1100cc and have say an 18ltr tank it would be one horn machine.

I've had plenty of twins in my day, but man, the first time I put a leg over the Magna was the last day I'll ever ride one again. This motor, all i can say is, WOW. This thing will purr like a kitten, then you hit the upper echelon of the tach and all heck breaks loose. This bike will flat out...

This thing will purr like a kitten, then you hit the upper echelon of the tach and all heck breaks loose. This bike will flat out fly. It loves to cruise 100+ on the freeway, it loves to idle along the city streets. It handles better than any cruiser I've ever ridden. I would imagine that there isn't a cruiser out there that could stick with this bike in the twisties. I'm too old to lay on a tank, but I'm not to old to push this bike to its limits. I feel like I'm 16 again. If you want a fast cruiser that doesn't potato-potato along, this is the hot ticket. If you want a fast cruiser than doesn't weigh 300 extra pounds, this is the hot ticket. VTX's beware, this will blow your doors off in the twisties.

I bought the 2002, I can't imagine anything better. The ride is smooth, the sound is great, and I think she is beautiful. The dealer convinced me to try it, so I tested it against others...no comparison. I was hooked. The only drawback is lack of accessories that fit, most noteably hard...

A girl needs her stuff.
