I bought my 2003 Reflex in March of 2007 and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I have put well over 11000 miles on this bike in less than a year. This is my second scooter, my first one being a 1986 Honda Spree. The Reflex is simply amazing and incredibly versatile. For commuting the bike is a breeze in traffic, able to keep up and out-accelerate most cars. On the freeway, it handles very well although it does get tossed around a little in high winds. It's a heck of a lot of fun in the twisties and as a touring bike it performs admirably. Did I mention that it looks fantastic too? The Reflex is hands down one of the best all-round scooters that can handle pretty much whatever you want to do with it. The only reason I give it 4 stars for comfort is for the very uncomfortable stock seat, but that seems to be a problem with nearly every bike made.

I bought a used 2003 [yellow-yellow] on e-bay. Not a scratch on it with 2825 miles. Put on taller windshield, turn signal buzzers, switch for light in under seat, and raised up back rest. I love it. Look for excuses to ride it all the time. Would recommend to anyone to... read more

Quality and layout is great. Power is just fine, mileage is great, and the brakes are great. I don't have a long term yet since I only have 100 miles on it. Did I say it handles outstanding? Overall, I'd give it a 10.

Just twist 'n go. It is my main method of transport to work. Just be sure to do the K-mod for best performance. The suspension is a tad rough...(but is adjustable)...but in all fairness, the roads in PA suck BIG TIME. The handling is fantastic. If you remember the thrill of riding a mini bike as a kid, this is like re-living those days, but on a street legal, 75 MPH, cool looking machine.

After adjusting to the operation of a scooter vs a motorcycle, riding the Reflex was a delight. I rode along the beach road to Pennascola, Florida for lunch. My wife rode as passenger with no problem. The reflex was very stable and well balanced. Acceleration & handling was great. I would highly recommend the Honda Reflex to the novice or experinced rider for a whole lot of fun for the money!

I love the Reflex. It gets GREAT gas mileage and has really great pick-up. Just one problem that I discovered -- and all the Honda scooters from 250 cc on down have this problem -- is that the carburetor is very small and easily gunked up. The dealership service staff says they have had to service all of the smaller scooters because of this. This is caused by the fact that the gasoline is cut with ethanol, which breaks down the gas into a really nasty form of turpentine in about 2 weeks. You have to put fuel stabilizer in with each tank, and if you think you are going to be off it for a week... syphon the fuel out.

So a week later I was back and left with the bike I was supposed to have (at least for now SilverWing calling my name). Does 75 mph on the highway. I am getting about 59 MPG, but I think I'm just a little too aggressive on taking off.
