It has great reliability and overall it's a nice bike. The only thing it needs is power, at least a 400cc engine. As a beginner, I've outgrown this bike in a month. Show less

This is a follow-up to my other post from May of last year. The bike is now broken-in and has nearly 3,000 miles on it. The acceleration has gotten a lot better since break-in, but I was noticing a significant drop-off in MPG - down to 79. I took it into the shop for inspection earlier this year and told the shop and they cleaned the carb. This made some difference in acceleration, but it was only when I purchased and started using Star-Tron fuel additive that the MPGs went back up to 86 MPG (back again!!!). Apparently the Ethanol treated gasoline is really causing issues with engines - both carbureted and injection, but seen more on the carbureted due to the vacuum passages being so small and prone to clogging. This is still a great commuter bike and fun to ride. Show less

I purchased this bike nearly a year ago, but have just begun riding it this past month. It is incredible! The performance is excellent. The bike easily goes 70 mph and gets at least the claimed 70 mpg rating. At 5'7", there is plenty of leg room, and it is very comfortable for long rides. The dealership in Gainesville provides excellent service and I will be returning there soon to upgrade to a larger motorcycle! Show less

This bike was designed to putt around town for beginner riders. Low speed stop and go will last forever. I am picking two up for my 15 and 12-year-old boys while they learn how to ride. Each will be given a custom built (they are building them) for their 18th birthdays. Great for college/high school kids to get them to and from school/work. Show less

This is my first bike. I don't think I would of gotten any bigger since this one is my first. I don't ride much but when I do its great. Reliability is there and performance as well. Comfort... well, you have to get used to it. Overall, it's nice to own it. If you are going to start off riding and are new to this, this is a good bike for any one. The most important thing is to aways wear your helmet. Show less

This is my second bike. I had a 200 now a 250. This Rebel is worth every penny. It is a small bike but it never hesitates to go. I have had it on the highway and had no problem keeping up. It's a good bike to learn on or if you just want sommething to go cruising on. Top speed 80mph Show less

I'm 62 years old, this is my first bike and I love riding it. It's easy to handle and shift. Sometimes I'm out and lose track of time! It's really a lot of fun. I've only had it a month and I have 625 miles on it already. Great beginner bike. Show less

I used to own this bike, GREAT BIKE, loved it, runs great, drives great, would recommend this bike to anyone, only reason I got rid of it, it was time to move up to a larger bike, if not for that I would not have traded it in. Show less

This is just a starter bike, but wow...a little better than I was expecting! I was figuring I'd be stuck at in-town speeds, but no...this bike can hang at 70 miles an hour just fine! I ride this thing all over the place...ok, not a powerful bike, but enough to get me where I'm going. I'm going to upgrade soon, but I'd definitely recommend this bike to anyone looking to learn on a very light and easy to handle bike, or someone who wants a cheap commuter! And for what it is, it's kinda sharp looking as well! Show less

Well, I bought this bike and never drove a stick shift car. A week after I bought the bike, I took the Rider's Edge course...(great course by the way)...and the next weekend I drove from Rossford to Central Avenue to get the next class excited, and maybe inspire someone! Yup... one other woman there told me that I was her inspiration, and another told me that I was her lucky charm... I helped her stop popping the clutch! Ha! Anyway...back to the bike... yup... LOVE IT!!! Even let the instructor try it and he felt it was a great little bike (his knees got in the way, but it's perfect for me)! I am riding all over town on my Honda Rebel now!!! I am feeling free and loving every minute of it. It shifts gears a little hard, but probably because I have little feet! Ha! If you never owned one of these little guys...you have to get one of your own. It's a great bike! (I moved up from a scooter...I'm a big girl now!!!) Come ride with me! I'd love to have someone to ride with.... maybe we should start a Honda Rebel club! Ha!!! (seat gets a bit uncomfortable after a little while of riding, but not too bad). ::smile:: Show less
