The first time I threw a leg over a CRF450 my lap times immediately improved. Lower center of gravity, less weight, better power and less tiring than my YZ426. Easy to work on, awesome right out of the box. Can't wait to get back to District 22 and roost some REAL dirt this...

I rode the bike for about two months, then old man winter hit. I will never buy another two stroke again. With its wide powerband and smooth delivery it is the perfect bike for me. don't get me wrong when I say its smooth, this bike has tons of power if needed. I can jump farther with less of an...

I rode the bike for about two months, then old man winter hit. I will never buy another two stroke again. With its wide powerband and smooth delivery it is the perfect bike for me. don't get me wrong when I say its smooth, this bike has tons of power if needed. I can jump farther with less of an approach. If I were to pick on the bike I would complain about the spongy feel of the front brake and also the stiff forks. But now I bought race tech suspension and everything should be fine for the spring.

I just recently bought my new 04 CRF450R and I love it. This bike rocks. I ride with a bunch of friends that all mostly ride KTM but this baby smokes all of them. I have always stuck with Honda and always will so if you are looking for a great, fast, powerful bike this is the one to...

I love this bike. It has amazing power. The CRF450R should be labeled the "Red Beast". My jaw hit the floor and stayed there. It will keep you on the edge,...

This bike is awesome. I've been riding for only about four years and thought this bike would be too big but it was easy to ride. It is a very user friendly bike but the power isn't far away. I'm a 300 pound guy and as long as it's rolling even if I am leaning on the bars it will stand right up...

This bike is awesome. I've been riding for only about four years and thought this bike would be too big but it was easy to ride. It is a very user friendly bike but the power isn't far away. I'm a 300 pound guy and as long as it's rolling even if I am leaning on the bars it will stand right up without a problem. However I can go easy and relax while riding. I think it might even be a little too big for the woods up here in New England. I think this bike is awesome and think that even though it user more user friendly than the YZF I think it is still for the intermediate to expert riders. Great bike and I don't know how to make it better. Thanks Honda

I recently purchaced a 2003 CRF450, I was riding a KX 500 and picked the CRF up used. I wasn't sure how I would like it coming off a 2 stroke 500 but let me just say "HELL YEAH".This bike starts up on the first two kicks everytime. I recently purchaced a 2003 CRF450, I was riding a KX 500 and picked the CRF up used. I wasn't sure how I would like it coming off a 2 stroke 500 but let me just say "HELL YEAH".This bike starts up on the first two kicks everytime. It doesn't have the power of the KX, but it will pull hard from any gear. The balance of the bike is great. I ride mostly desert, the rides are long and ever changing. This bike handles great up hills,in sand, through washboards. No arm pump, and very comfortable. I will say that the only thing I did notice was the vibration through the handle bars got to be a little numbing after awhile, but I plan to change the bars from the Renthal "Fat Bars" to the FASST Torsion ones. I also have trouble with the water pump leaking. I am looking into if that is a common problem with them. All in all I will have to say that this is a great all around bike with gobs of power and great suspension.

I've had my bike for about a month now, very radical powerband. It can be gentle or rage like a manical beast. You control it by your twist of the wrist.Only thing i added was full skid plate, cases are exposed. Radiator guards, billet spark arrestor,frame...

The power delivery was very smooth and the bike hooked up excellent on the late afternoon hard-baked track. The suspension was very good with no mid-stroke harshness and the shifting was smooth. I have an '02 with a lot of mods and I feel that the '04 was every bit as good if not better right out of the box!
