To tell you the truth i`ve owened three of them sense,1998.I had a 98 model 99 model and 2000, model,THE 98, 99, DIDEN`T RUN VERY GOOD,they had poor low end,ok middle, and would fall flat on top, real bad.they were bone stock,Now the 2000 model is a whole new bike, when it was stock,it had a little trouble down low but not near as bad as the other bikes did when all`s you would have two do was hit the clutch one time and it`s ready to go,the midrange is by far the most powerful in the class, it will pull so strong it`s unbelieveable and so long then it goes right into the topend screaming like no other, and the over-rev is just as strong,it would top out at about 12,000-rpm,and hold it`s mominum,as long as you can hold it,diffenitley no flatness here, those shootuot`s are a bunch of crap..just check out who`s winning what,If STEWART rode a pro curcuit backed cr-125,he would win just as easy,If,the truth hurt`s then im very sorry,What im trying two get everyone to no is,Don`t let these guy`s doing these shootout`s run your motocross life, because there wrong alot of the time,All five bikes are capable of winning, as long as they `ve got a rider on them that can hold a throttle open, and know what he`s doing,Im just sick of them running HONDA`S motor in the ground all the time,And yes i did own an race for one year,,, a 97,model,yz 125,I`ve ridden and raced bikes sense i was eight years old.It was no faster then the honda, not at all..To the Honda R and D department, you have my thumb`s up.I hope alot of people learned something, out of this.Honda`s alway`s the inventer, The others are the folower`s,,,I,don`t want any bad feeling`s,It`s just the truth.Like i said,I no alot about bikes and this is the truth,Jerry,,,
