When I purchased the bike the first day I had it the mirror fell off!!! Not Hondas fault though, it was the dealerships. Then the second week I had it was in the shop for a week due to a horrible rattling sound in the front end. It was that little headlight vibrating in the plastic. Now that I have gotten all of those problems ironed out I have been in heaven!!! This bike is truly a great performance machine!!! You can't go wrong. All of my friends ride 1000's and not one of them can handle through turns like this bike can. GREAT BIKE!!

Ok - the comfort is not perfect but come on it's a super sport! This has got to be the definition of perfection on two wheels. Smoooooth, fast, and very flickable in the turns. Did I mention smooth? This bike is definitely hungry for speed but also takes care of you at slower speeds - just nice to know you've got a rocket in reserve if you need it. I thought about a Suzuki GSXR, Yamaha R6, and even the Kawasaki ZZR 600 class (thought the Honda was a bit expensive). You get what you pay for. If you are thinking of purchasing this bike, all I can say is - DO IT!! I've done a few modifications, strictly cosmetic as there is no need currently for performance enhancements. My wife is a little jealous knowing I've got another love interest in my life. Thanks Honda!!

I have had sport bikes and crusiers before. I wanted a change from my Honda VTX 1800 c so I went back to the Honda CBR 600 RR and what a thrill. I had it up to 145 and the bike still wanted more. Handling is the best I have encountered in a long time. My wife thinks I'm crazy since I'm 45 years old... read more

This is my first Sportbike, and I was criticized for buying a 600rr as my first. But I must say that this bike is just amazing. If you have good self control this is not a bad starter. The low-end is a bit sluggish which is to be expected, but mid and high it shines. I live for the twisties and I can easily outpace my riding buddies who are on gsx-r 750s and 1000rr's. The combination of light weight and low center of gravity makes this thing just rediculous in the corners. A lot of complaints on here for the seat, but this isn't a problem for me. I've done several 400+ mile rides with little pain. With the seating position it is easy to put too much pressure on the handlebars which makes my wrists sore..but this is just a matter of breaking the habit. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Having driven R6's and ZX-6R's I would would by far give this bike the win. With a race tuned suspension and a power curve that just doesn't give this thing will own your buddy's in the corners. I ride 45min. to work and it might not be a truly comfortable ride with the hard seat but it's worth every minute. I plan on making this my track/race bike because of the way it tears through corners and allows me to drag that knee. 5 Stars w/o a doubt.

Best one out there though!

My 06 600RR is by far my favorite 600 class sportbike in terms of looks and performance. I have ridden Gixxer 600s, an R6, and a Ducati 749. As my first bike I think that the 600rr is the best overall 600 in its class, although there are faster 600's, this is the best. I chose the CBR over the Kawi and R6 because I think this is a better street/track bike emphasis on street. I ride with a 1000rr and for a 600, mine is a... read more
