Bike is very responsive, and forgiving, only problem is the cct which makes noise after about 2-4k miles, not bad for the bike just annoying, but I don't even notice it anymore, you get used to it. Overall this bike is bad ass!

All I did was a K&N filter, 2 brothers racing exhaust and Power commander. Rest is stock. Really added to the responsiveness and power of the engine. That is all I would recommend doing to the bike. Otherwise, perfect!

So you've read all the motorcycle magazines and decided: "Boy I really need a brand new r6 or 600RR." Do yourself a favor and sit on the F4i first. My whip weighs about 15 lbs less than the new honda 600, has only a tidge less horsepower and about 2 or 3 more inches of bar rise. So, the f4i is virtually the same performer, cheaper and more comfortable. I slapped a yosh exhaust and a corbin seat on mine to overcome the only deficits from the factory. The f4i is my first road bike and was a joy to learn on, yet it still manages to thrill me with every enthusiastic handful of throttle. Little secret: All of the new 600s (the katana isn't exactly new) will perform nearly identically. It doesn't really matter when 3 seconds on a 2 mile track separate them. Go for fit, the f4i fit me, has Honda reliability and build quality, and has yet to let me down.
