No lie, I bought a ZX-6R in January. It was a bad mistake. Fast but not faster than that CBR F4. I had been a Kawasaki fan from day one. Level it to my best friend to beat the crap out of me on his CBR, you can't blame this one on the rider because I am pure h*ll on any motorcycle. So what can I tell you? I went and got a Honda CBR 929 now I am the big man in town. The ZX-9R, ZX-750R, GSX 750 1300, 1200 beat them all. Correct I was the big in town in til that R1 stepped into the picture.

Very forgiving to her rider. She will do all the work for ya just hope you can hold on. I've had mine since mid June and I'm still learning to love this bike more & more. It's the pumpkin & black color. Everywhere I stop people give me looks & say how much they really love the orange. How can you not love this bike?

Back in 1989 I purchased my first CBR 600, the "FLK" model. The bike was one of the most stable and powerful 600's I've ever been on. Back in 1989 I purchased my first CBR 600, the "FLK" model. The bike was one of the most stable and powerful 600's I've ever been on. I was inspired to track prepare the bike for a season at Sears Point. Well, it's 2000 and that 1989 CBR I since traded. I purchased the new F4 a few months back and I must tell you that 10 years only added more performance, better handling, and tighter everything. I wouldn't trade this bike for anything. And yes, I rode the 929RR as well. Yes, the 929 was the best performance bike I've ever rode but the trade off was comfort. It was a bit "harsh" compared to the 600. This bike is comfortable through the busy San Francisco city and can EASILY hold its own with any bike in the curves. I tossed on a Erion racing pipe and it was like lighting my stick of dynomite! The stock pipe does easy clutch wheelies and with the erion pipe, roll on wheelies are easy too... Here is a sample of this baby "flying" through the turns at over 100+, remember the traffic being passed is doing well over 50. http://www.jasonwolf.com/ride

This bike is unbelieveable, considering all the bigger bikes on the market. You will hold right up there with them and believe me they all know it. The balance is incrediable and Honda's engineers are to be commended on a great job they did on this bike. Pure power with the control of a touring bike and adjustable suspension to tighten her up for those of you that like to get down and dirty in the corners. Clearly for the money "you can't go wrong". Yes, there are faster top end bikes out there but I must question their ability to hold up to the CBR600F4's control at high speeds and the reliability of the machine. When you look at the prices of the higher "CC" bikes you must ask yourself "are you getting really more for your money? or just more top end speed ?". Remember with these type of bikes, control and balance are in some cases more important than top end speed. This motorcycle has tons of power and I think you'll love it !!!!!

I just purchased my F4 in April, since then I have changed the pipes to a Jardine system, which has such a low deep sound some other bikers think that it is a larger cc class bike, but not. The bike lost 6 lb with this first of many changes. The seat has been changed to match the silver, but when it comes to performance it puts you on the edge of the seat! I tuned the suspension for all the hairpin curves we have and it sticks to them as if you were on a rail! The top end is great since a few mods. I ride with all the 750, 900, 1100, 1300 and they can't believe that I can hang with the big dogs. This bike has shocked quite a few people I ride with. EX a 97 F3 with cam, jetting, sprocket, pipe etc can't even hang with me even on top end. In closing, it will be just a little bit more of a sleeper by the end of the year.

Got my F4 in April 2000. I now have 3000 miles on it, no problems. I have ridden this thing 500 miles in one day without any wrist or back problems, not bad for 6.2' 225lbs. If you want a bike that can go all day, every day with plenty of power, then this is the... read more

I have over 2,000 mile on it all ready and still want more. I have ridden it 240 miles in one day and when I got off I wanted more. So I say this is the bike to have!! At 100 MPH it is just getting started. (Not that I have ever been that fast on a public road). E-mail me if any questions. I love to take about it.....

This bike has been very easy to adjust to for a re-entry rider, and it extremely forgiving for a thoroughbred machine. The ergonomics are fine for an over 6' person and the power is astounding for a middleweight. I do agree that a fuel gage and clock would be nice. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.
