I stepped up from a 600 Kawi. It has loads of bottom and mid range with plenty of top end for the street. Power is linear with no sudden power surge like the 600. The front wheel can spend a lot of time in the air if you want. Overall it is a comfortable, responsive and rider friendly...

I was a little bit skeptical when I dropped the money on this bike - but it blew me away. On the turns this thing will keep up with, if not rock the socks off, most 600cc bikes. It is very forgiving - the electronic stabilizer won't make a difference until you need it. And the looks - silver and...

I figured I would post my review now to praise the 05 1000RR on her reliability as well as her top performance. I have put 25k miles on my 1000RR and aside from regular maintenance, and changing the clutch plates 1 time (after 2 hard seasons of drag racing thrown in there along with all the other...

I have put 25k miles on my 1000RR and aside from regular maintenance, and changing the clutch plates 1 time (after 2 hard seasons of drag racing thrown in there along with all the other hard riding I do) she still runs just as strong as the day I brought her home. You can't beat Honda reliability if you take care of your bike properly. If you are thinking of buying one you will not be disappointed.

This bike is exciting just to look at. I got mine in November and rode it home in 30 degree weather. If my knees hadn't started to go numb, I would have been out all night. The bone stock performance seems like something that you just don't want to mess with. Busa, R1, GSXR, you can have em! My...

I have had this bike since June 07 and I got to tell you that this thing is sooo much fun. Like other people have said it is an agile beast, it can be somewhat timid but it comes alive at the twist of that right throttle hand. Like other people have said it is an agile beast, it can be somewhat timid but it comes alive at the twist of that right throttle hand. I am a fan of all the liter bikes practically and with any of them they command respect. I look forward to riding this bike every single day even around the corner.

WOW. It's been a while since I last owned a bike (Honda 500 Interceptor). I decided to by-pass the cc envy and go straight to a liter-bike. I went with the Honda partially out of nostalgia and partially from rider reviews, and I'm glad I did. Twist the throttle and the bike just GOES FAST. No...

I went with the Honda partially out of nostalgia and partially from rider reviews, and I'm glad I did. Twist the throttle and the bike just GOES FAST. No matter what gear, no matter what speed. Turns? No problem. That steering damper is worth the purchase price all by itself. You can't go wrong with the CBR.

I have been die hard Team Green since I began riding. 2 weeks ago I bought my first brand new motorcycle...a 2007 CBR 1000 Race Ready and for sure that is exactly what it is. The ZX-9s I used to ride don't even seem like real motorcycles now. This CBR is soo smooth...yet soo powerful. Unlike the...

The ZX-9s I used to ride don't even seem like real motorcycles now. This CBR is soo smooth...yet soo powerful. Unlike the Ninja, my CBR doesn't want to lift up every time I crack it. I tell everyone it makes corners sooo easy that it seems to turn itself. If anyone is on the fence on what to buy, trust me, you want this bike!!

There is not a better performance machine on the market. This is like driving an F1, or flying an F18 jet fighter, I pinch myself everytime I ride this awesome engineering work of art. One year, and 8k later, there is never a dull moment. This is the ultimate ride, this bike stops as fast as it accellerates. Cornering is breathtaking and effortless. This machine demands huge discipline and respect, nobody under fifty should own one. That being said, Honda engineers, you are the best! There is no other bike on the market that can touch this on the street for performance. I am very fortunate to be able to ride such a fabulous superbike - CBR 1000. I am 52 years old and the happiest man alive, thanks Honda, ha baby!

I just recently bought the 2007 1000RR and absolutely love it. I ride 2 times a week with very experienced riders; 2 on R1's, 2 on GSXR 1000's, 1 on a 10R, 1 on a 600RR and 1 on a 750 GSXR. We all switched bikes the past 2 weeks and I couldn't wait to get back to mine. Every one agreed the 1000RR...

Yeah at 150 mph plus it's caught by the other liter bikes but in turns and up to 150 it is the quickest bike out there hands down. I can absolutely tear them up to 120 mph. This bike is the best liter bike out there, any one who says different only rides straight ahead and buys a bike based on HP ratings.

I have owned over 20 bikes. Right now I have a 2006 Harley NIGHT ROD and a 2007 Repsol CBR1000RR. THE CBR is the best I have ever owned, light weight, and tons of power at any RPM. Great bike to ride. It makes you feel like a pro even if you are a novice. At 58 years old, I have no trouble spending hours in the seat. A blast to just ride around on but crack open the throttle in any gear and you will be airborn. THe VROD is a piece of crap compared to the CBR. There are faster bikes than the CBR, but none of them feel SO RIGHT when in the saddle and riding like the CBR does. This bike will out handle any other bike on the street. The R1 and Hyabusa feel very top heavy and the Kawasaki 1400 is a big fat ugly bike. It feels like it is a long as a freight train. If you want a great SPORT BIKE, just get a CBR1000.
