Before I begin I must state the obvious: This bike is VERY powerful and should be driven with a small level of fear and respect. OK now that I've said that, off I go. I got my bike on Ebay from a great guy. The first bike I drove was in South Korea. It was a 125cc Suzuki, kind of a cuiser/street bike. It was great. When I got back home I drove my Pop's 750cc Yamaha Magnum. It was more powerful but it wasn't that bad. When I drove the 919 for the first time I was worried about all the potential torque and speed. Here's my point. If you use your head and learn the bike's capabilities it is great. Acceleration anywhere you need it. It is very agile and will surprise you. Obviously not meant for long, long trips but nothing mods wouldn't enable. For commuting and short trips it is fun. I LIKE feeling the wind on my chest. I LIKE being able to smell everything while I'm driving. Honda's reputation on quality is what I'm banking on. The bike is comfortable enough. Nothing is more comfortable than a car. Whenever someone asks me how I feel about the 919 I say: "It's a powerful standard looking motorcycle." I hope that helps persuade or dissuade whoever reads this rambling review. Beware!

It turns with such ease and the fuel injected linear acceleration is awesome! Every gear just rips with power and murging/passing with traffic at 70 with 2 gears left means a lot to this 260 lb rider. I may change the seat if I plan to a lot of long term riding, but it's okay for riding to work and such. I'm very happy with my purchase! Thank you Honda!!

I've owned this bike for a year this May. I've had a CBR F3, Nighthawk, even a 600 Seca 2 and I cannot describe the feeling I get on this bike. Since I rolled it off the lot I haven't felt the same about any other bike. It's the perfect remedy for life's... read more

Have been up and down Blue Ridge Parkway two or three times already. Bike has never left me stranded. The torque and linear power delivery of this motor is awesome! Roll-on acceleration is on par with pretty much any bike out there up to about 80 or 90mph. Get it, you won't regret it!

Bought the bike after a 30-year hiatus (college/marriage/kids). Everything is very intuitive. Rock solid handling at all speeds. Acceleration and brakes are excellent. I bought a Givi windscreen to tame the windblast at 80mph+. Just lean into the screen- no problems at 120mph. The screen... read more

I bought a Givi windscreen to tame the windblast at 80mph+. Just lean into the screen- no problems at 120mph. The screen eliminates the feeling that some thug is trying to tear your helmet off. This bike offers the great combination of sports bike performance, but is more comfortable with its upright riding position for us over 40 guys.Typical excellent Honda quality.

This bike is awesome right out of the box, but you can customize this thing until it's one of the baddest looking bikes on the road. Add a K&N air filter, new exhaust and a Power Commander and you have one of the fastest bikes on the road. Nice ride, great handling, great power, great brakes. That... read more

I am very pleased with this bike. This bike has plenty power even for a heavy rider like myself. Even if you are a beginner. don't be scared by the 919cc's, better to learn on a bike like this rather than on some whimp 600 bike.
