This bike has been so much fun to ride! It is fast, easy to control probably because of its "low profile". I love the sound of this bike and has been admired by many people. The color and model were a limited release. I will miss riding this beauty, but my life has changed and no time to ride. I am the original owner, and she has been kept in a garage. Show less

I've had this bike a few years now and I truly love her, she is a great all around bike. You can run to the store to pick up something for dinner, use her as a computer, cruise her to bike night, or just take off for a few days and go ghost. She's like the Swiss Army Knife of motorcycles. And you'll hear "get a real bike" usually from a bagger bro. But let's be honest. How many motorcycle models can claim the honor of being in constant production sense 1957. That says a lot about the loyalty to the Sportster line. I'm not a stone Harley owner, I also own a 73 Honda chopper. So I don't bleed black and orange, but for what I want her to do (witch is pretty much everything) she does it willingly. So don't let the name Sportster discourage you, will be pleasantly surprised. Show less

The Sportster 883 Low is a very good bike and very reliable. My favorite things about it is how it looks, low slung with the classy Harley Sportster Look. It gets better than 50 miles/gl on my short road trips through the country. It's easy to drive with its lower position with plenty of power with 1 passenger. I was more reserved with 2 passengers (usually my kids) so I didn't push it but it did fine. It's super easy to service and it's easy to switch from my single seat to the 2 Up Soft Harley Seat for changes in ride, comfort and style. The negatives about this bike is that on rough roads, it can be a bit of a rough ride. I think this is due to the Sportster Low having less travel in the shocks to give it the low profile. My single Indian Seat was fairly comfortable, but if I was riding for 30 minutes or more or the country road I was taking was rough, I switched out the seat for the Harley 2 Up soft seat. It's wider and has much more support making the ride much better and more enjoyable. The 2 Up Harley Soft Seat also allows me to slide back to the back seat when I want to stretch my legs while driving. The factory 2 Up seat can be made to a 1 Up seat so it looks cool, but the seat doesn't have much support so I didn't use that seat much. Overall, I love this bike. Very fun to drive around town and the country roads with good acceleration, light and easy to maneuver. I would definitely recommend it, but with the softer seat that Harley makes for this bike. I stand 6'2" tall and weigh 260 lbs. I bought a 2002 H-D Sportster 1200c because I always liked the Sportster and since I've had it, it's become my favorite motorcycle. It handles very well. It's a powerhouse of a machine that dos not like to take it easy. The Sportster has an abundance of chrome and classic styling that'll have heads turning. The forward controls help me find comfort on even long rides and best of all, the it's backed by a network of parts and accessories that will allow you to customize your Sporty any way your heart desires. I highly recommend this bike for anyone looking for an experience, not just a boring ride. A bike made for the most diehard enthusiast, you will be addicted after the first ride. Show less

Absolutely love this sportster!!! I did not like the drag bars and changed them out. Also went to chain drive for different gearing for my personal preference. Bike is great for in town riding and is very quick. Like the forward controls for more comfort. Bike handles very good and can lean it down in the corners further than expected. I did install a Mikuni 42mm carb for just a little more performance. Great bike!!! Show less

beautiful,reliable engine.lots of parts and upgrades out there.easily customisable.mine has a stage 3 with 4,000 mi on the rebuilt (upper and lower)engine. 88hp at rear wheel.lots of chrome,custom flame paint.thumbs up everywhere i go!you cant beat a evo engine reliability.WILL DIE WITH IT,NEVER GIVE IT UP. I waited long time to finally own my harley.it was worth the wait . Stage one screaming eagle gives it plenty of power. Except for a to small of a seat this bike was all I ever wanted. Living the dream Show less

117 CI ( Factory Custom ) M/C in Battleship Grey, I did change the rear suspension ( Progressive Shocks ) which allowed me to lower the bike to my satisfaction. I have owned 4 Harleys, this one is by far the best. I am forced to sell mine due to my wife's health, but I do still own it along with my '06 Night Train which I plan to keep. Show less

Found the bike from the original owner about 30 miles from my house. Great condition with a Stage 1 upgrade. He had dropped it at least once on each side, but with minor scuffs on clutch/brake and throttle handles, pegs, and pipes. But he was totally honest and the damage was pure aesthetics. Really good deal for my first bike. I love it. I tested several bikes at dealerships and then bought from Cycle Trader ad. I think I probably saved about $2k. Show less
