Great starter bike, not the best for two up. Plenty of raw power to slightly feel old school but with modern enhancements, make sure to black/bobber/debage. . Tough appearance, vigorous engine: on paper, the Harley-Davidson Street Bob scores easily. Moreover, it knows how to translate that into practice. Apart from the Pan America (which you can’t compare it to of course) this is the best Harley I’ve ever ridden. That’s mainly because of the riding experience that the Street Bob offers. It likes a sporty riding style and the mini-apehanger is ideal for hanging around the bend. If you’re too enthusiastic however, you‘ll hit its limits. The weak brakes and the absent traction control should also be kept in mind. But don’t let that spoil the fun. Show less

Rides smooth, perfect for first time riders, great for long trips, the side bags are a plus, smooth design and not bulky like the bigger cruisers. Fits in small spaces. Engine is clean. very versatile as the bags can be removed to be more like a sportster. The windshield can also be removed if needed Show less

I went from a road king custom to the street glide special, it was a big difference, I have been riding for 30 years and still love my 1984 fxrs low riders it has been out standing in motorcycle performance and comfort Show less

2006 883R sportster , professionally modified by Steve Shore , former builder , customizer for Iron Horse magazine . Mild custom , with many uograde components , all "top shelf" eg. Wiseco, Mikuni,Screamin' Eagle , SuperTrapp , Twin-tec , and more . Very agressive performer, always garaged and never ridden in wet weather . In my opinion this bike would be a perfect fit for someone's first Harley. Looks good and runs great. Brand new fuel system and fuel gauge. Engine has great torque according to the tech from HD. Garage kept and covered. Most of the factory parts have been replaced along with additional chrome added. Show less

This motorcycle has been a very reliable vehicle and has been well cared for. The bike runs well and looks good. The full windshield allows comfortable driving in cooler weather and helps keeps rain off of the driver. Crash bar covers are included which also help with wind and rain. I am selling this bike because I'm looking for a bike with more options. Show less

NOTE: This is a review of a Sportster 883 Iron (Not an option in the dropdown) I've never owned a Harley before this one. I've always heard negative things about how Harley's are difficult to maintain and constantly break down... however, this is NOT my experience with this Sportster. TBH... this was an impulse buy from a neighbor; however, it turned into a fun adventure! I hadn't ridden a motorcycle for close to a decade and it was a great return to the excitement of "flying" without wings. Prior to this bike I had a couple of Yamaha cruisers, a Victory, and had driven every type of bike possible. I've held a motorcycle endorsement on my license since 1998. If you're interested in a Harley, Sportsters (883 or 1200) are a good initiation into the HOG. Well-balanced, plenty of power to move anyone (I'm 6'4" and 240 pounds) and fun to ride. Show less

Excellent motorcycle, extremely reliable, comfortable ride with forward controls and mini Apes. Always kept up with maintenance. This bike made it to Sturgis 2012 and back to Seattle.
