Harley-Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider reviews

This is my wife's bike which we have had since 2004, with 2260 miles when we purchased it. She has ridden it across the country in 2017 along with me on my Roadking. She has also ridden it on two previous 2000 mile trips. The bike has been well maintained by a local Harley knowledgeable shop. My wife had a mini stroke and is no longer riding. It's a great bike! My first Harley. My wife's first Harley. Then my Harley again. We've enjoyed running around locally as well as journeys all around Minnesota to Milwaukee and to Sturgis. It's solid, rides firm and the four color paint scheme with a rare matching blue frame. In great shape for it's age Show less

Having owned motorcycles since 1973, The Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider seems to be my favorite. It's fun to ride. Thr large easy starting fuel injected engine hasn't ever let me down. I didn't want to say that because I don't want to get jinxed. Anyway, from the comfort, smooth ride, and strong engine remains the top three attributes that come to mind. This beautiful motorcycle has been garage kept. Serviced and maintained regularly is very important to me. The appearance and functionality aspects are very similar to a new Harley despite the 16,500 miles It's traveled. As far as dependably, I would trust it today to travel anywhere in the 48 states. I have chosen to keep this Harley as stock as possible. The Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low is like it came brand new from the dealership except for the 16,500 miles she's been driven by only conservative adult riders. As father time is catching up to me, I've decided to allow a younger person take over the controls to enjoy what I have been blessed with. Great bikes if you would like something sportier than pre 2018 softail/ dyna. Great bike stock, but even better with a couple upgrades. I’ve owned 2 of them and haven’t regretted it in the least. Great machines. Show less

I have a 2002 Dyna wide glide definitely rides different than my Roadking did ,my Dyna gives me more of the old school feel with a lot of power .. it’s not for long distances for me but it’s a blast to ride around and down to the beach 🏝️.. Show less

I bought my 2012 dyna in 2019 with 11,000 miles. Stock 103. Put pipes and a tuner on it. Runs great handles great. I've put over 50,000 miles on it myself, I ride it full throttle most of the time. Crashed it doing nearly 90 mph, and corner it til sparks fly. I love everything about it. I fly a 3x5 American flag 365 days a year. Live in MN. Moving to Tennessee. Ride fast take chances folks. It's powerful, that's for sure! You'll pass everything else on the road! Except the gas station. It has a 4.8 gallon gas tank. Which, in my opinion is too small. A 5 gal. tank would be better as gas consumption is high. But, what do you expect with a 1450cc motor! Chrome everywhere. Which is time consuming. But looks great when you get it shined up. An all around great bike. With ONE exception. It needs forward control's. It would be SO much more comfortable on longer rides. Other than that, you can't beat it! It'll do what you want every time! Mine has NEVER left me stranded after 4 year's of hard riding. Like anything else, you have to preform your maintenance every time! If you treat this dog well. He keeps it in Immaculate condition and it's faster than all the other Harley Davidson Also he doesn't ride fast with me on it with him and I think he got 22,000 miles on it The Harley Davidson is in perfect condition Cover up the miles you could sell it as a Brand new Harley Davidson Show less

I am not the original owner but this bike has gorgeous paint, runs like a champion and accelerates on the freeway effortlessly. Mileage/fuel consumption is 42 mpg checked on a 200 mile trip to Daytona 'BiketOberfest' this year 2022. Rides and maneuvers easily. I am proud to own this one and love riding it daily. I have 2 other bikes and this one usually gets the nod when I am going anywhere. The original seat if firm and I have a hard butt so for myself it is comfortable. No issues that I can say would stop me from getting another one if I was in the market. Show less

This is the absolute best motorcycle I have owned. It is far superior in looks and performance than the ninja I had previously. The ride is impeccable at any speed , gets around town , and delivers a superb ride on highway excursions. I bought the last remaining 2017 here in Michigan in my area and love this bike . It takes some getting used to as far as the lean angle in the corners but what a machine.. Classic chopper styling with.a superb handling make this a perfect all around bike. If you find one buy it, you won't be disappointed Show less
