Harley-Davidson FXD FXDI Dyna Super Glide reviews

I bought this Road Glide new in 2008 and had the dealership add many "extras". The bike is older schoolHarley with vibration at Idle which is classic HD. Road trips are fantastic with cruise control, great sound and plenty of storage. The Fairing is fixed (shark nose) and allows good air flow and protection. Floor boards allow ample movement and the seat is comfortable. The King tour Pack my spouse really like it a lot when she rode. The tour pack gives security for the rear passenger with a large back area for support. The reach seat has great padding for the passenger and is good for firm support at stop sign and red lights. Overall this has been a great bike but just don't ride it enough to honor it. Show less

Rides smooth, perfect for first time riders, great for long trips, the side bags are a plus, smooth design and not bulky like the bigger cruisers. Fits in small spaces. Engine is clean. very versatile as the bags can be removed to be more like a sportster. The windshield can also be removed if needed Show less

Excellent motorcycle, extremely reliable, comfortable ride with forward controls and mini Apes. Always kept up with maintenance. This bike made it to Sturgis 2012 and back to Seattle. This is an older HD, so obviously not quite as comfy as the newer models; however, it has held my wife and me in good stead through long trips from SoCal up to Wyoming and Victoria, B.C., among others. With the upgraded Performance Package installed in 2012, the overall power increased by about 15%, and that was a worthwhile addition. I just turned 70, and my joints are starting to fail on me, so physically it was time for me to admit that Father Time has gotten the best of me, at least when it comes to riding a bike. But I've loved my HD from the day I purchased it, and although over the sixteen years that I've owned it, it's got a few bumps and nicks, it's still a solid bike, and if I was ten years younger, I wouldn't consider parting with it. Excellent touring bike, fast off the line and cruise about 95-100 mph easy. Comfortable and handles well. Apehangers make it easy to ride. El Ray backrest included. Helmet also included size large HD Helmet. Show less

Best Shovel Head I have ever ridden. Literally as smooth as my new Harley Hydro Glide Icon Series. The new Trans shifts smoother than any new Harley, and does not leak or even stain. Dependable as a new bike after restoration, while keeping the stock integrity by using new replacement parts that are stock specs. The modern upgrades do not physically take away from the stock FLH. Including electronic ignition, upgraded alternator, true dual exhaust fishtails, all new bushings and seals on wheels, swing arm, goose-neck, forks, and handlebar bushings. Front and rear brake master cylinders rebuilt with new brake pads, rear drum turned, kick and electric start are both dependable, brand new high-end whitewall tires, new bag locks, new battery with tender, new snap on/off windshield, and so much more.
