The Softail Standard is a wonderful bike at an entry level to Harley Davison. I think it's a great way to not just take it "as is" but to make it like it you want by adding the look and bling you prefer. I think it's a great way to not just take it "as is" but to make it like it you want by adding the look and bling you prefer. The lighter weight makes it a dream to handle and the powerful 107 engine gives it more punch than you'll ever need. This thing is a rocket. Two years off the showroom floor and I've had zero issues. It's a great cruiser that I would happily jump on and do a couple of hundred miles easily. For longer trips you might want a heavier bike but that's not what it is designed for. It is a comfortable and spirited bike in the Harley barn.

Fun and easy to ride. Well balanced just under powered I think. Awesome starter bike. I'd recommend replacing stock shocks and seat. Ride is real rough and you can feel every little bump in the road. The stock exhaust makes it sound like a lawn mower. Kinda sad for a HD. I put some shark road slip...

I have been continually working on trying to get my registration completed Since April 6,2022….. I am usually a fairly patient person but found “incompetent” situation’s rearing it’s Fucking Ugly Head pretty much the entire time during the process. Not to mention HD has lost credibility in my life with the pricing for there products. You have lost your mind in today’s market. Catch up. Fuck the Asshole Stock Holder.

You get all comfort without having a permanent fixed fairing stuck to you bike. 20 seconds and the quick detach windshield is off. Just as easy to put it back on. You get two bikes in one with the roadking. Great bike like I said I've owned 3 of em. A 2001 a 2010 and a 2019 currently. Get one you will NOT be disappointed!

This was my first bike purchased after a 17 year hiatus. Harley produced a really solid and equally fun motorcycle this year. Previous owner of my bike had installed 16" Ape hangers and they kept moving around after a few miles of riding. Found out the riser was stripped and needed a new one. Once replaced, I put more miles on my bike and enjoyed every mile. This bike handles better then I expected. Hugs the curves and really gets going with the 103ci V-Twin.
The one thing I love about this bike the most, how easy it is to wrench on. Did my own primary and transmission service and these were easier then I had expected. The fit and finish of the parts are high quality and Harley takes the time to finesse where needed. Hence, they've been around for almost 120 years and still going strong.
Definitely recommend a Softail Slim FLS to anyone wanting a solid, reliable, and fun ride.

The ride is impeccable at any speed , gets around town , and delivers a superb ride on highway excursions. I bought the last remaining 2017 here in Michigan in my area and love this bike . It takes some getting used to as far as the lean angle in the corners but what a machine.. Classic chopper styling with.a superb handling make this a perfect all around bike. If you find one buy it, you won't be disappointed

This has been an awesome bike. It has traversed the twisted sisters in the Hill Country in Texas, A1A on the East Coast of Florida, the hills of Pennsylvania and is now back home in the foothills of Colorado. I wish I had more time to ride it and people to ride with. When I bought it, I lived close to my dad and siblings who all ride. My wife and I used to take it to breweries all over the Hill Country in Texas. Not long after, my job moved us away from family and then we had our first kid. We no longer had the time to ride or people to ride with.
The bike has been well cared for. I have kept up on the service and always winterized the bike in the off season. I installed a brand new battery recently and she is running great! I also had it detailed recently. Please take a look at this bike in person.

My 2012 Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) Softail Convertible is the best Harley Davidson I've ever had. I always wanted a CVO bike, and when I saw this bike NEW in the showroom, it was love at first site.
I liked the fact that I could ride it solo, or I could put on the detachable locking leather saddlebags, the detachable passenger seat, the detachable sissy bar, and the detachable windshield/fairing, and ride anywhere with it. With the plug and play navigation system and MP3 player, I always had the songs with me that I wanted to listen to.
One of the best additions I added were the Vance and Hines Big Radius pipes, and the Dyno-tune. There is nothing that sounds as good as these pipes going through the gears. The other great addition I made was adding 7 color LED lights that looks so amazing at night. The colors can be individual, or they will move from one color into another. The chrome on this bike looks outrageous with these lights on.
I am the original owner, and the bike has always been covered and garage kept, and with only 10,700 miles on it, the bike is in like new condition; it's flawless. The only reason I am selling it is because I am older and not riding it much. Come and take a look at my Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) Softail Convertible, you won't be disappointed!
