I looked at them every time I stopped by there for a break from riding (it is that kind of dealership). Anyway they asked if I wanted to test drive the 620 MTS of course I said yes. When I first started off I noticed how light and agile it was. A fantastic ride, surprisingly quick for an air cooled 2 valve 618cc motor. It was so comfortable. I became a Ducati fan immediately. I have been surprised at the reliability, quality and fuel mileage (50-55mpg) and even though I am 55, I don't ride it like most people my age ride. It is a blast to ride, especially in the twisties.

Love the sound the motor makes. It is nothing like the Rice Rockets. It is comfortable, the clutch is smooth, enough power for a beginner; Handles very nicely. I find myself wishing for a sport fairing to cut down on the wind factor. Had it up to 155 km/hr. Gets lot of compliments on how beautiful it is. So far, I love every km on it.

I would reccomend this bike for all women and for anyone who is, well, short. Maybe a little later I'll up grade for a bike with a little more power, but this 695 has PLENTY of power for getting around town and to and from college so it's what I need for now. The only reasion I gave it a 4 for comfort is just that your hands get tired fast unless you're used to the leaning forward.

Wow, I simply cannot get enough of this bike. The only thing preventing me from riding it right now is the weather here in Albuquerque. The sound of the engine and exhaust are glorious! It sounds like a REFINED v-twin. There are some quirks with the bike like the fact its clutch does not engage until you are just about to let go of the clutch. It doesn't come with a windscreen either though there are plenty of aftermarket ones available. The handling of this bike is simply awesome and the extra weight over my previous Ninja 250R makes for a more stable ride in windy conditions. I can't wait to ride it again!

I have been using my Duke for the last 2 years, prior to which I have never ridden at all. I had some fears about getting a bike in this city which is known to be quite rough on all drivers, but this bike has over the last 2 years given me tremendous confidence. It is ideal for city streets, allowing you to cut through traffic with impunity, and enough power to accelerate through tight spots. The only drawbacks that I have found are, 1). It needs quite some time to warm up after pushing the start button, before you can actually hit the road, and 2). Top speed on the open road is quite a pull, and the bike is not stable especially in windy conditions. Definitely recommend this bike to start with and gets a lot of admiring looks everywhere.

This was my second bike and second Ducati. It's a great step up from the old 620's in performance, looks and craftsmanship. Easy to flick around in traffic, though it could use a little more low-end grunt. In 2nd/3rd at 4000rpm it really moves. Everyone wants to talk about it - next step: 999R... read more

It is a little intimidating, not for beginners. Riding position can get a little uncomfortable after a short while, handle bars are a little low. Sounds like a indy 500 car. Every one looks when you go by, but no one gets too rambunctious.

I used to race motocross and I always thought that the street guys were nuts, but I have changed my view. This bike has renewed the kid in me!! I can't stay calm at work and I have found myself in the garage just staring at my new toy. Julie...you were right!! There will be no need to upgrade to the next larger engine. This is all I need. I hope to see all of you out there riding around on your new Ducati just like me. ENJOY!
