This is an awesome adventure bike. Here are what I consider to be the pros of this bike: 1. It has brutal amounts of power on tap (170hp!) but a very refined power delivery 2. Huge amounts of low end torque to get off the line and out of the hole 3. Sounds pretty awesome also with the Acro pipe it comes with 4. Very relaxed riding position for those long rides 5. Comes with saddle bags as part of the package 6. You can get low and high option saddles for it 7. Heated grips and heated seat 8. Active cruise control is amazing with blind spot detection There are also some things I didn’t particularly like about it compared to other bikes: 1. Honestly the saddle is not that soft so my ass hurts on long rides, but overall it’s pretty decent. The high saddle I use is a bit softer than the stock one. 2. The quick shifter works awesome if you are on the gas or in higher gears, but 1st to 2nd at low speeds is a bit rough. Going slow I usually go to 2nd with the clutch. 3. The 19” front wheel is probably awesome for going off road but I prefer the 17” sport bike feel. Maybe the V4 pikes peak would be better for folks who want sport bike handling. 4. The built in navigation using the Ducati app is not very good. I put my phone up there and use that instead.

Truly feels and sounds like a motorcycle should. I added a special order race exhaust from Shark that looks sounds and performs much better than the Termi. The way the engine delivers broad usable torque with that manly desmodromic roar must be experienced to appreciate. The bike looks amazing. I got #4 of 100 made with the ridiculously cool Darmah black and gold paint. It turns heads everywhere. I also put a gold pressure plate and slotted cover. I added the gold anodized CRG adjustable levers too. My friends ride various Ducati, KTM, and Harley models, but they all envy my superior machine! It's not super comfortable, but it's a motorcycle, not a lazy boy.

Ducati Super Sports are finely crafted machines that exude sexiness with power. People notice my Ducati both visually and audibly. Handling is great whether I'm on a starightaway or straifing curving a country road. I know immature people who like to brag and tell me that my 750SS is slow compared to their bikes, that's when I ask them, "Do you race professionally?" Ten times out of ten they go away. Another tidbit of info, no one and I mean no one ever confuses a Ducati with any other bike. Classic baby!!

After spending the last dozen years with used bikes I found this one brand new this year in a Mid-Missouri dealership. I have thoroughly enjoyed the bike and am glad I found it. I have had a 750 Nighthawk and Suzuki GS 750T and they deffinatly had more power, but I don't miss it as this has plenty for me. The handling, the feel and tame rumble of the V-twin are what sets it apart. It runs perfectly although I think it was basically swept around in the showroom for 5 years. I was debating between this and a YZF-600R which I have ridden on quite a bit and really like both. You sacrifice a little clutch ease, power, and comfort with the Duke but you gain the handling, v-twin, and "uniqueness". The sidestand is shaky at best, that is really my only beef. I also think it works over distance but you really need a break per hour, as I took it 400 plus on the second day. If I stretched it to over an hour, pain set in.

I have reached speeds of 120mph and the bike still wants to go faster. Stability is great. The only changes I would do is change the seat to a more comfortable one, reviews suggest the corbin seat. Fast and Nimble... there's not too many Ducati's out there (Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki) are the most ridden sport bikes. You'll know when a Ducati rides by with that deep throaty exhaust. She fits me like a glove! I added a set of Remus Pipes and a 180 in the back and she is a piece of incredible canyon destroying machinery. Everyone has a Harley, GSX-R, CBR but only the very few know of and own the charm and beauty of the Ducati 750 Super Sport. When on her I feel like Mike Hailwood on the roads of Man. Ahhhh, to ride a DUC is simply a dream and legendary! And hey, when I am a half mile out, the girlfriend knows to be outside waiting to hop on... the true roar of twin thunder is coming!

It is a real confidence booster - it follows the rider commands no matter how tight the curves.

After a long period of indecision between the Ducati Monster and the Kawasaki Z1000 I finally made a decision. At first I wanted the Ducati, then I heard a few ugly things about them, and decided to look elsewhere toward the Z1000. The Z1000 is faster and has a nice array of after market items, but the colors are horrible. The Ducati is slower and less comfortable but the design is superb, and the handling is incredible. It was a tough choice, but I don't regret going with the Ducati. Some people say the engine is underpowered, but I strongly disagree. Low and midrange perform well within, if not surpassing, the region of acceptability. However, it does top out around 120-125mph, so do not expect to keep up with your friend's GSX-R. Then again for what it's worth, I think it's worth a whole lot more than other bikes, and so will the women checking you out as you fly by.
