Have really enjoyed this bike! Only regret is not having the time to ride it more! Have owned several bikes, Harleys, Sport Bikes and others and get more compliments on this bike than any other. Just a cool looking blend of retro and modern that just works. A blast to ride. Abundant torque, great in the turns and comfortable for me for 2-3 hour stints for sure. Heated grips are great to have and accessory power hook up for heated jacket pants or use as battery tender installed. I am selling it for two reasons. #1. Kids are all out of the house and wife and I downsized. No more three car garage:( #2. Purchased 2023 GS 1250 R to take longer trips now that kids are off the payroll:) Show less

This bike has performed beyond my expectations and I sad to get rid of it. I can no longer control it at slower speeds. It is a very comfortable bike and has taken me several places across the country. It purrs like a kitten and has been serviced at all the increments required by BMW. Show less

Brand new bike under 300 miles. New windshield. One of the best handling sport touring bikes on the market. Fast and comfortable. Black exterior. Need to sell all of my bikes for personal reasons. The GT is one of BMWs greatest designs ever built the 6 Cylinder puts out over 160 hp with over 160 lbs of torque. 0-60 is 3.2 seconds. Show less

I've had a dozen different Bikes starting with a 1926 HD "F" head 61 with suicide shift. I've had Triumphs and Goldwings. The R1200 RT stands out as the most enjoyable ride. The passing capability is more than adequate. The power windshield and heated grips work well for a variety of weather conditions. The radio and new front and rear rubber makes you road ready. The low milage and winters in a heated garage keep this bike feeling young. Show less

This is an amazing touring bike. Very comfortable and easy to ride. It is also very responsive even with a passenger. Lots of suspension and comfort options that make it a pleasure to ride. Fuel milage is about 43 for me and have enjoyed many day trips on this bike. Show less

I bought this R1200GSA motorcycle when a friend sold it to me nearly six years ago. I took his word that it it is the best on the market, and I agree with him. It can do it all: Touring (2 up too), Virginia twisty mountain roads, gravel roads, and off road. Took the Pine Barrons Dirt 101 course with it in NJ and it performed remarkably. (While it can handle anything, I don't think I'll attempt single track or deep sand with it again though!) Did over half of the Mid-Atlantic BDR on it, and it was great. Finally, maintenance: this bike is easier to maintain than any of the Japanese bikes I have owned. Get a GS-911 tool and you are set. There are so many places now where you can get parts and not pay full BMW prices. I'm selling my GSA now because my long, big bike ADV rides are done due to back issues, so I'm sticking to the asphalt, and going a little smaller and newer...with a GS 1250. I'm forever hooked. The K1600GTL Exclusive is an absolute beast with enough power and performance to out perform most large sport bikes. Comfort is un matched and is features like lean angle curb lighting, heated seats and grips, keyless everything with security and factory Garmin GPS. Cons: speakers Could be lauder but Shouldn't - IMO. No reverse or electric center stand. 2016 did not offer Dynamic cruise, just normal. Loved the bike from day one. Show less

Great all around motorcycle! Torque everywhere with shift-cam engine. Handelbar risers, Puig touring windscreen, locking side cases, keyless ignition, shift assist pro, dynamic suspension, and Navigator VI included. Just had 6,000 mile service, front tire was replaced (Michelin Pilot Pro,) and battery was replaced. Great for commuting, trips, and spirited back road riding. Show less
