The Dorsoduro 750 is a nimble fun supermoto like bike on the tight twisty roads. I logged 4500 miles of curvy roads in the Ozarks in southern Missouri where the yellow arrow signs recommend 15-30 mph. For reliability my experience is that I had zero issues. For quality I feel like the bike could have come with better wheels and tires. I bought my bike with dealer installed Arrow exhaust and a factory re-map so my bike was already 11 lbs lighter. After the break in miles completed and oil change I bought a set of forged wheels, a lithium battery, and switched the 525 chain and sprockets with smaller less teeth but keeping the same ration sprockets and a premium chain. These mods reduced unsprung weight by almost 15 lbs and the battery took a few more lbs off the sprung weight. The bike now handles much better especially at speeds over 80 mph when switching directions, braking also acceleration was greatly improved. The Dorso is a great bike stock and much better with a few mods. This bike is very good in the curvy roads but doesn't have anything for a sport bike over 130 mph. If you like the upright style of riding and want to ride the twisty roads without being tucked into a crotch rocket you will probably love the Dorso. As for comfort I'll say the Dorso is comfortable until it's not. For me that was about the 300 mile mark. Once I hit 300 mile I wanted off and to qualify this I've done 900 miles in 12 1/2 hours on a gold wing F6B before I decided to quit and that was the day after I had done 450 miles in the Colorado mountains. Short rides around 100 miles with a passenger are ok if your passenger is small and under 150 lbs. Show less

BEWARE: Possible FRAUDULENT SELLER If you attempt to purchase a 2020 Aprilia RSV4 RR Misano from "E. Smith" through a Cycle Trader ad, be sure you chase down every detail and demand to see proof of ownership PRIOR to issuing any certified checks or setting arrangements to meet to complete the sale transaction. If you investigate, seller is inclined to cry foul and end the transaction abruptly. Bike pics show Georgia plate. Seller "lives" in Dallas (McKinney). And, the lienholder is in Illinois - and "won't send the title to any address other than the Seller" when the payoff is received. Thus, you'd have to trust that a) the Seller owns the bike, b) the title will be delivered to you at some future date following Seller's receipt of it from the lienholder, and c) you haven't just paid to take possession of a motorcycle that you may potentially never own. Also - make sure you get a straight answer regarding the chain of ownership and custody... including the titling of the vehicle in California. Best of luck, friends. Keep the shiny side up! My experience with this bike has been great. This bike is a supernaked. Which is to say a full performance version with less fairing. Things to note: handlebars, no clip ons! The riding position is excellent. You can ride this bike for hours without getting cramped. What the magazines and videos call the rider triangle is even good for 6 footers. All that said you better be comfortable and ready to rock because when you open this bike up the performance is amazing. The quick shifter works up and down and that's good because if you use full throttle in first you will have trouble getting your foot up to catch second before redline! This bike has the full complement of electronic aids, (even cruise control). I use the wheelie control because it will lift the wheel up so easily I don't want to worry about it in normal riding. The acceleration is HANG ON! The handling is fantastic. Ohlins dampers all around with every adjustment, They are manual adjust, but if you under stand setting up once you get it, you probably won't change it . The bike is so good every time I think I have too much entry speed the machine just laughs at me as if to say, "I could have gone a lot faster than that". The cornering is confidence inspiring. It just works and any time and at any lean angle. I have never been in a situation that I felt that this bike couldn't handle. Another plus is even if you stay stock exhaust (ie LEGAL) it sounds great! I am glad that I bought it. Show less

I bought mine new in 2002 and enjoyed commuting and driving on it for the next 10 years. I put 32,000 miles on it and took very good care of it then foolishly sold it for a bigger Piaggio Berverly 500 scooter [a reliable bike, but with inferior body work and design). I regretted selling it so much I bought it back six years later but in a very sorry state. So I brought it to the Aprilia dealer in San Francisco, and had then go through it completely and had all the body parts repainted. It mine forever now. Show less

I bought this bike brand new in 2015, which now has 18k miles. I test drove several other motorcycles, but this one stood out in handling and performance. It reminds me of a "rocket on a rail," with plenty of horsepower and superb, razor-sharp handling. Compared to other bikes I have owned (about 40 in all) this Caponord has been a pleasure to ride. It has most of the modern handling features like ABS, Traction Control, Aprilia Dynamic Dampening (ADD), Ride-by Wire throttle, etc. There were a couple warranty issues within the first 3K miles, but the dealer took care of them right away. I had an issue with small oil drip from the water pump seepage hole, and it was replaced with a new unit. The other issue I had is quite common for this Caponord model, which is a malfunctioning fuel gauge. The problem has to do with the plastic float that slides up when gas tank is full, then drops back down when fuel is consumed. Apparently, the engineers at Aprilia figured out that the ethanol in American gasoline was causing the plastic float to swell up and stick inside the float tube, and thereby causing an improper reading of fuel level. This part was re-engineered and replaced under warranty as well, with problem resolved. Routine wear items like tires, chain and battery can be DIY at home or by most local motorcycle dealer's service department. I needed my dealer's expertise for more complex service like checking valve clearance at the 12K interval and diagnosis of a stalling problem, which turned out to be a relatively simple replacement of the main starter relay switch located under the passenger seat. Over the six years I have owned this Caponord, it has become my favorite ride. I can ride in the comfortable saddle for 400 miles in a day without much fatigue. Gas tank holds over 6 gallons and gets about 42-45mpg on the road, providing well over 200 miles between fill-ups. MPG drops to high 30's if you twist that throttle hard and start feeding that second pair of fuel injectors. This is a comfortable, yet high performance motorcycle. Just be ready to bring a fresh box of donuts to your qualified Aprilia mechanic if the need arises. Show less

it was good for less than a month nice feel to it then one morning i start it up then it stop,the power sport in stamford ct say that they don't fix aprilia , the closest place is in newhaven ct that is a shame because it is very far , i feel like i am stuck , so i would not recomend any one to buy this scooter ever. The performance is top drawer. Yes, its a rocket but the handling is so good that it easily maintains corner speed so in back road riding conditions you don't really need a lot of motor. The build quality is very good - certainly a step above most of the Japanese bikes that I have owned. And it looks and sounds amazing - most riders I have met at gas stations, etc, haven't seen or heard one before - so there is a nice element of exclusivity. Dislikes: Mine came with a race can on it - extremely loud - got eyeballed by the authorities everywhere. I added a dB reducer - still loud but tolerable. Its a pretty dedicated riding position - though not as miserable as some of the other European bikes - its not conducive to long days in the saddle. Parts are harder to find than the bigger brands. Reliability: no rating, I haven't had it long enough yet to know. Show less

Where to begin... Ok have 2014 triumph street triple and in comparison to RSV4 it is like a man powered mower vs. A self propelled mower... the electronics on the RSV4 will save your a$$ without the skill you should have to be pushing a bike .. now this is not endorsing blind abandonment... I have put this bike in positions that would be 500% more difficult to correct than my other.. apologies for comparison as it is the only factual comparison I can make... have had it +165mph and it doesn't feel out of place... as the triumph begins to shutter at >130mph ... fyi I'm 200lbs and have +2 teeth on back and +1 on front of triumph... ... let's just say the electronic rider aids are insane... quick shifter auto blipper where have you been all my life... have race ecu, sc project exhaust, shorty levers, and integral blinker mirror block offs... sc project S1 exhaust is insanely loud ... so loud picked up evasion case bc I never heard cop behind me...well I was also enjoying myself too much Show less
