It's truly the best bike I've owned so far. It offers a car-like comfort and powerful performance, making it perfect for long rides on the highway. The bike handles heavy traffic with ease thanks to its manageable size and maneuverability.
It comes with plenty of storage space and comfortable aftermarket seats, ensuring a comfortable ride for long distances. The bike is built to last with a durable construction and reliable performance. The low-maintenance shaft drive eliminates the need for chain adjustments, making riding hassle-free.
Exciting features like the electric windshield and cruise control make highway cruising a breeze, and they are easy to adjust when you're off the highway. The Akrapovic exhaust system provides a comfortable ride and quick power delivery, enhancing the overall riding experience.
If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable, and feature-rich touring motorcycle, this is the one for you.

I bought my VStar 650 two years ago, used. It was January of 2021, Raleigh, N.C. I went into Motomax several times before. This time, Josh knew I had been looking for about six months. I asked "what's new?"......he pointed and said "just go it in.....sit on it John".
I sat and it was a PERFECT fit. I'm only 5'5" (use to be 5'9"). The Black Beauty was like new. I looked at the odometer........1,200 miles. YES.....only 1200 miles on an 8 y.o. bike.
Didn't even start it up. I bet I got on and off it a dozen times. Asked the price, and told him what CASH offer I'd give. Within 10 minutes.....it was mine. I actually paid him to ride it home 4 miles.......it's been 40 years since I rode. I later took the MSA class.
Now......the Bike.
It rides and handles like a dream. I've put highway bars, windshield and sissy bar on it since. OH.....the windshield is from National Windshield......it's Carbon Fiber......extremely strong. Companys been making windshields since 1939 ?!
Our development has 11 cul de sacs and I practiced, practiced and practiced. It paid off, cause this bike is smooth, responsive, quick enough to get you outta the hole, yet, cruise on the highway at 65. That's the max I'll do on it. It's just me, nothing wrong with the bike. I've serviced it every spring......and can't wait to ride. The clutch grabs at the top, so if your worried about that, it's build that way. I noticed I have to mash the back brake and softly squeeze the front brake. Every moring, it fires right up.....no problem. Now.....GAS......I burn Non-Ethanol gas only. You can find it.....Exxon/Mobil has it, as Sunoco......just have to look for it. Valero has it too.
In the winter, just pull the choke and she fires right up. BE CAREFUL not to let the choke on rich too long.....the pipes will start to dis-color.
The trans is very forgiving. Lot's of times I can shift without the clutch.....I learned that years ago in the 70's.
This bike is so smooth, often I check the 5th gear.......it's that smooth. I guy I do business with gave me a set of Hard Leather saddlebags ......it's really sharp now.
It leans into the curves well, handles great. I've never had a doubt with this machine. So this is my 4th bike. Way back in the late 60's to early 70's I started off with a HD CH900, then a Honda 650, then a Kawasaki 400.....nothing wrong with Harley.......I just have less mechanical issues with Rice Burners.
VStar 650.......it's a mid cruiser......but don't overlook it. Remember.......it's the RIDE. Cruising back roads at 45 - 55.....this is a PERFECT BIKE..........

FZ1's can be modified with R1 suspensions for track. This series of bikes have been bolted with hard luggage for touring. It is not uncommon to see an FZ1 that is street toured to reach over 200K miles with only normal maintenance performed. The dependability of the FZ1 is none other than legendary. I purchased my bike with the idea of tracking it a few times per year for skill building & using throw over bags for traveling. The center stand makes maintenance a breeze. Very few bikes these days have center stands.

Sadly, I haven't logged many miles since I only got it this season but it just rocks. Coming from an '09 FZ6, this bike has gobs of power in all five gears. It has smooth power, yet pulls. My only gripes with this bike are the sheer weight of this beast and the handlebar setup. Nothing to do about the weight but a relatively cheap pair of risers brought the bars up nicely and make it more comfortable for sure. Trying to get used to moving this beast around my garage is no small feat. I just ordered the park and move dolly to help with that.

After riding only Cruisers for the past seven years, I decided I needed a change. I spoke to the folks at a couple of local dealers and narrowed my search down to either the Suzuki Gladius or the Yamaha FZ6R. I got a much better trade in value for my V-Star 1300 Tourer from the folks at Yamaha and they also were asking $1,500 less than the Suzuki dealer was asking for the Gladius. Needless to say I went with the FZ6R. It was quite a change in riding style and position from my previous bike. After a couple of hours of riding however, I was able to get more comfortable with the FZ6R's higher seating and more nimble handling. The dash display was well positioned for easy viewing and it's nice having a fuel gauge for a change. The FZ6R handles the wind and open roads quite well considering how much lighter the bike is compared to the Star 1300. Shifting is not as smooth but getting used to it quickly. Fun factor is very high (can't wait to hop on it again). Engine power is not intimidating but by no means weak either; this bike has more than enough power to entertain most if not all riders. I will update my review after the 600-mile service but so far the bike is great and would highly recommend.

I bought my Stryker back in June. I love this bike! After I put 2,000 miles on it, I installed pipes/tuner/programmer, for performance, a HID headlight, so I can see better at night and LED's everywhere to make it really stand out at night. I absolutely love it! I have ridden quite a few bikes, but the Stryker is a top performer, and can keep up, and beat quite a few Harleys. The bike has amazing curves and the Cobra swept pipes just add to the overall Prostreet look. I have also gone to a 240 series tire and it looks great on the back! It's a great machine!
